Proper config for 4K playback

Hello.

Is it possible to configure LE/Kodi to work at 1080p and only switch to 4K when playing 4K titles?

1. This will make the interface work faster (My NUC6CAYH is getting horribly slow when working @ 4K)

2. This will allow my TV to handle 4K upscaling for non 4k material (It does it much better than my NUC).
