Is it possible to run LibreElec on a Pivos Xios XS? They stopped production at TofuLinux 16.1. Was hoping to run Krypton.
I cant seem to find any info on it.
Thanks.

Pivos XIOS XS - Official Kodi Wiki has basic spec details so I've moved the thread to the Amlogic support area.
Has anyone tried this?
There is not much interest in developing for the 8726-MX chipset in those boxes when something 10x better can be acquired for $30 these days. It can probably be done, but there is probably not nicely written guide or pre-pacakged release.
I've run the Pivos Xios XS software on my GREF18 board, so maybe this will work the other way around:
[8.0.2] LibreELEC 8.0 builds for MX2/G18
It has not been tested, and bricking is of course your own responsibility.
Topicstarter KOPRajs has said to try to make a release for 9.0 if certain bugs concerning sound have been fixed.
I know its a long shot, but is there any chance anyone has figured this out yet?
The Pivos Xios XS can only run its version of Linux Kodi upto 16.1. Hoping to get at least v17.
Thanks.
There has been negligible development for 8726MX in the last 12m and LE 9.0 will be the final release that we do for the couple of 3.10 kernel using devices that we currently support. Once we end support that will probably be the end of community interest in that era of devices. Sorry..
So I should just throw this POS in the trash I guess. Can't run anything anymore. Sad.
