Also Picture Slideshow (transitions, zooming) are not smooth. It looks like dropped frames.

(Slideshow on Minix U1 is perfect smooth)

This issue is fixed in LE 9.0 builds. I think now S912 has better performance for UHD videos even with OSD debugging (Ctrl-Shift-O) there is very few skips for most demos no skips. Samsung: 7 Wonders Of The World Italy UHD 4K Demo | 4K Media .

I am using LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.90.1.1, and there is a frame drop just before showing the subtitles.

I think frame drop issue before showing subtitles is a huge problem. If there is a solution, please let me know. Thank you.

are u using S912 or S905X? As per my information this issue resolve in S905X.

I've been using kszaq's S905X Krypton builds, and all of them are/have been silky smooth.

I've tried both Krypton and Leia builds for the S912 and still have the stutter from srt subs appearing.

I will keep an eye out as I have one of the suspected "dodgy" eMMC Mecools (I've installed to internal, and 3 or 4 updates later it's still going strong........ so far), which I'd like to upgrade from to the S912 permanently.

Being my first post, I'd also like to say a big thanks to all the Amlogic dev team for making this rocking little box sing - Cheers gents!
