Updated my Wetek Play2 to 8.2 and now I get stuttering playing movies - NOW SORTED

  • Well I got 8.2 installed ok using Samba but now I get stuttering and the little timing wheel on movies that played fine before.


    They are quite large files around 30g but coming over Ethernet from my NAS box using NFS


    I had no problems at all before, does anyone have any idea what the problem could be

  • Well i went through and removed all the banned/illegal repositories and addons I could find, using your list in the WIKI and rebooted but still the same.


    I have done another debug log so could you review this and see if you can find what is causing the stuttering and the little timing wheel on movies that played fine before.

  • I'm actually using a Wetek Play2 (as in the title of this thread) which I belive should be ok.


    It worked fine in 8.02

  • Well I copied the user data folder, then did a clean install, then copied the user data folder back to the clean install and its working fine now.
