Yes... Another problem connecting to Windows Share via Samba.

    Hi to everyone.

    I am posting this one because I feel I have done everything right and still I cannot connect to my Windows share after installing the latest LibreELEC 8.2.0.

    My Windows share have a local account and the folder is shared with it

    My LibreELEC is set to Samba 2 to Samba 3

    I have entered my Samba URL targeting my windows PC IP fixe and not tried to browse the workgroup (smb://192.168.0.10/News type of address)

    Still, when I try to browse, instead of being welcomed with the Login/Password windows, I get a error message that imply that it is not properly authenticated.

    What did I missed as I have 2 other Amazon Fire TV boxes that are working absolutely fine on the same network so definitely not a problem with my windows PC...

    You can't browse the windows network anymore. You have to add the source by typing the path then adding user and password. After that you can browse in the source i.e,: //192.168.0.1/News if you try to browse the windows network you can only get to //windows network/.., where you used get to //windows network/workgroup/News.
