Home Screen Changes Not Saving

I have just done a fresh install to sd card. When I make any changes to the home screen, Different screen image, Hide different menu items, Then reboot none of the changes are saved.

Any ideas why this might be?

It could be a simple glitch on the SD card... (I once had the write-protection slider moved to readonly as I put in the SD card into a RPi-1). But lets do a kodi.log file first, just to see if something else happens.

I have found an answer to the problem. It seems to be a common problem at the mopment on KODI. The asnwer is to make all the changes you want to home screen then change skin to another and then go back to confluence and the changes are saved. Not a big deal.
