Adding Music over http(s) does not work

Hi,

So, I have LibreELEC 8.1.9 running on an Amlogic 805 with no issues aside from adding music. We have a common server we share amongst friends and we access it over https. Before this, the same 805 box run Android with SPMC 16.4 with no issues. Music would load over https with no issues. However now, movies and tv shows load properly, but music doesn't.

i caught this error in the log file

CreateLoader - unsupported protocol(sources) in sources://music.tbn

Anyone else experience this? Is http(s) supported for video but not for music?

What does work for music as tested/

sftp/ssh adds the music just fine, as does ftp, but we prefer not to run these services as user services for obvious reasons. Also the test shows that its not a tagging issue.

1. That is not a debug log. You need to turn on debugging, then restart kodi, then reproduce the error, then SSH in and type

Report back the generated URL.

2. Get rid of that banned repo if you want help.

I have done all that. I have reinstalled the whole thing back to a vanilla state.

I have enabled debugging, both using the menu and the advancedsettings.xml file.

When I type in that command, I get the following error

What am I missing?

Then use kodi.log file - there is no file debug.log (nickr made a typo ).

No worries. It happens. If it makes you feel any better, I was half asleep registering my account and in the end I ended up mispelling my username. I only noticed today.

I don't see any solution here and I have the same problem, if I add my remote source (https) with basic authentication etc. nothing happens...

It's like there are no files on my server
