[SOLVED] My new Box MSQ Pro+ (S905X) Wifi

Hi,

I know it was alot of wifi chipset in the market. My new box is a MSQ Pro+ s905x 2g + BT, the Wifi and BT is not working with the last LibreElec build.

I make this command: udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/sdio*

I know now the chipset is a Broadcom bcm4334 and I see alot of broadcom chipset compatible with librelec. I saw alot of files firmware in /usr/lib/firmware/brcm but missing the 4334.

Do you think it is possible to add the compatiblite with this chipset?

Remember to collect it just after booting.

chuneault Do you still have Android in internal memory? If so, can you do this:

mkdir -p /tmp/system
mount -o ro /dev/system /tmp/system
cd /storage/downloads
tar -cvzf firmware.tgz /tmp/system/etc

You will then find firmware.tgz in "Downloads" shared folder. Please attach it.

I think the file is too large... Can you upload it somewhere else (Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) and post a link?

I have exactly same problem (same wifi chipset) , but in my case only wifi not working, BT is working fine

NB: chuneault possible fix for bluetooth: make sure you enabling BT on SERVICE menu (in my box default BT setting is disabled by libreelec)

I will try the test build because I think you have received always the same firmware of mine from mordorian.

My BT is not working, I see the controller when I try bluetoothctl but can't find any devive with the scan

kszaq, the test build is not working, same dmesg error as chuneault

in android wifi is working fine,

as comparison I upload both android and libreelec dmesg

Btw, I can't find fw_bcm4334b1_ag.bin, fw_bcm4334b1_apsta.bin, fw_bcm4334b1_p2p.bin files in libreelec /usr/lib/firmware/brcm/ folder, could this be the problem ?

Perhaps I did not bump the firmware package properly. I'll upload a second build later today.
