Amlogic Custom update Addon

Hi Guys,

I have created this addon from a few different sources. Its more a addon template really for your own use.

Very basically you add your LE firmware and device tree to a zip file and store it on dropbox.

If you change the firmware, you change a text file and the next time you reboot you will get a note on the screen telling you there is an update.

I have included a ReadME file and a sample text file.

Very polished, but not exactly what I had in mind (as you still have to manually update a file each update to trigger the addon to alert you that there is a FW update).
Thanks for this excellent example though.

Is it OK if I hack it about and try and make it simply look at the updates url and announce if one is available? Perhaps the update button could then open the LE available updates window.

I'm no programmer, but I can often come up with something if I have a working example to mutilate
