  • We haven't had much luck some 6-10 months ago in adapting to the 32bit BIOS boot, so that ship kind of sailed by. Sorry.

Ubuntu 14.04.3 Desktop Image for Intel Atom Z3735F mini PCs and Sticks
    Already work everything under Linux.

  • After some testing:
+Video refresh rate working, decoding ok.

    -audio sync problem
    -No Bluetooth
    -Gui slow
-livetv hd channels (1440*1080 50i) deinterlacing jerky
-No audio, and hd audio passstrough

  • - for audio sync please check advancedgui i think there was some delay, try with 0
    - yes i know i will try add
    - livetv hd channels (1440*1080 50i) deinterlacing jerky (choose only VAAPI method )
you can also try switch driver to modesettins on some devices work much better than intel
--> to do that create file xorg.conf in /storage/.config (or config folder exposed over SMB) ant please put this

    Code
    Section "Device"
    Identifier  "Device0"
    Driver      "modesetting"
    EndSection

about audio yes - there is patch only for HDMI sound with downmix to stereo or multichannel PCM
a saw some patches for baytrail - maybe in some free time i will check.

  • Maybe can you setup audio output to 7.1 multichannel output, and dd,dts, dolby TrueHD,and DTS hd software decode to 7.1?
    Like raspberry pi does.
