I have tried in the past most LE8 images from this thread and couldnt install them on an SD card. As wowwoo mentioned the process hangs with the M8S logo (didnt try to install on internal NAND).

I would be happy being able to install this thread recent image and will wait for Demetris to prepare a 2G image.

Wowwoo, can you give more detailed instructions for how to install LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip

on an external SD card ? (Currently I am only familiar with the process of burning an SD card with an img.gz).

LibreELEC 7 deveop version makes your M8S to LibreELEC only device. It has update_param script and rom.zip file these are like android update rom. It can't install to SD or USB. So I install it to nand, cause recovery to android too easy

I tried S82 image again, but it doesn't work. Stopping M8S logo forever. I did rollback it LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip and after LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz your image. I did it all just for 5 minuets

Only recognized 1gb ram and power on are in trouble. I installed it nand. But I couldn't clean install it. First I installed LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip after use .update folder in your rom LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz

M8S users try LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz install it. I've got M8S (2GB/8GB, Fast ethernet, AP6330)

I success with that version. It works great! But the little problems are impossible power on/suspend, only 1GB recognized ram.

But I solove it using TV's USB port x3 for M8S power. When I turn of TV, TV supply 5V to M8S

Finaly I found the correct LibreELEC from you thank you very much, I have ENY M8S (AP6330, 2GB/8GB, 10/100 Ethernet, n200 S812)

I try lots of LibreELEC but I couldn't success, but your LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2-MXIII-1G.img.gz is works perfect except power on/suspend.

But wifi and bluetooth works perfect, tvheadend 4.2 too. But it's too hard to install at ENY M8S,

1. Prepare SDCARD

2. LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-update download and unzip 2 files copy SDCARD

3. Use toothpaste install developer version of Jarvis

4. Download LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2-MXIII-1G.tar or LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2-MXIII-1G.img.gz copy to LibreELEC's update folder

5. Reboot and LibreELEC 8.0.2 at ENY M8S

I wanna aml timing version... It was great to me I have Beelink Mini MX S905 and Sunvell T95X S905X both works great to kszaq's build I miss super speedy switching channel

8.0.0f and 8.0.0g quite fast when change channel speed, I have S905 and S905X both
it's rellay nice great works! I use external tvheadend on synology one for s905, and the other one is
libreelec addon tvheadend 4.2 for s905x. I update it always use update folder it's really simple and easy and safe

I use similar one the name is T95X, cause using Chinese cheaper wifi chip there is no driver.

Thank you for your help, but when I put modified remote.conf to configuration folder HDMI-CEC doesn't work
So I use keymap editor addon to solve, then TV remote and original cheap remote works well both
