@kszaq: I noticed WEBGrab+Plus v2.1 has been released a few weeks and it is great. If you have some time to spare to update the next LE releases with this new version of WEBGrab+Plus v2.1, that certainly will be great. Thank you for such a great work.

I just updated to LE 8.0.1d. Nice work. There is one catch: The System Information claims it is a built of Kodi-17.4, but the splash screen during boot shows it is a Krypton 17.3. I reckon Kodi devs goofed.

Ever since I installed the 8.0.2c build, the led on front of my Venz V10 box keeps blinking. Kinda like an HDD or LAN i/o led. Is it suppose to do that? And what does it indicate?
Network traffic activity?

8.0.2c now uploaded.
kszaq: Thank you and now my MXQ Pro works through its AV port @720P resolution. I think that is the highest resolution an AV port can support.

Please read Nexbox A95x - S905x SoC - Analog output not working
It's quite possible you'll see it in a next build.
Understood. I hope you will find some spare time to add such a feature. I will be more than happy to use my MXQ Pro box to test this feature. Else, I may have to find another inexpensive HDMI to YPbPr (preferably YCbCr) converter which I am a bit hesitance. Thank you.

Guys, sorry if this is obvious, but I've been trying to find the info here and failed.
I have the box MXQ Pro 4K s905.
Is the built-in WiFi supposed to be working on it?
I have no problem ssh into my MXQ Pro configured with ONLY a WiFi connection.

kszaq: Is it possible to support video out through the AV port? Right now, my HDMI2AV converter just went dead and the only way I can use my MXQ Pro S905 is through its original Android OS with kodi v16.x. If I boot into LE 8.0.1b, all I see on my TV is the S905 Logo and then a blank screen with only audio working, i.e I can hear the sound when pressing back button, etc.

Is it possible to add video out through AV, instead of only HDMI, port for the next releases?

If now tried 8.0.1a, 8.0.1d, 8.0.1e, 8.0.1f and 8.0.1g, all with the same error, as in my initial post. Any ideas?
I hope I am wrong here, but this started to sound like a hardware (DVBSky S960/S860) issue. Can you confirm if this DVBSky S960/S860 device will give similar error messages when plugged into any Linux desktop computer that has a driver support?

I will stop using Amlogic builds untill you include Kodi 17.3 in a build unless you are saying it is very low risk. I have another device properly running 17.3 in LibreElec 18.02. It's a ChromeBox and I did the update with it. Sorry I don't want to pressure you but I think it's very important to update to Kodi 17.3 as stated by Kodi.tv.
On my Linux desktop computer, kodi has been updated with 17.3 and the message please update to 17.3 because of security issues... still pops up.

Also, S905 has more CPU power than S905X, so it can software decode 720p h.264 10-bit files.
I did not know that, but am glad to have bought an MXQ Pro S905 instead of an S905X.

Is kodi v17.3 going to be included in the next 8.0.1m?

..., and frequently shitty firmware ...
That is definitely a big issue, especially if you meant the stock Android firmware. TBH, I rather have shitty firmware than shitty hardware. My MXQ Pro S905 still has a shitty stock Android firmware in its eMMC storage, but it runs very well with LE 8.0.x as of this writing on an external storage. So, a shitty firmware is not an issue for me, YMMV.

The threat using LE is very low. The patch is included in 8.0.1l (and of course 8.0.1l-mm) build.
R U saying this Krypton security flaw patch is already applied to LE v8.0.1l?

Hello,Do these minor builds get updated automatically one after the other?
Meaning from k to l for example? Not sure what exactly did you mean. However, if you wanna upgrade your existing version with any version, just download the version to the /storage/.update directory, do a sync, and then reboot your device to let the LE get updated to the version of your choice. Be patient! This update takes sometimes to finish.

I have an MXQ Pro S905 comes with a built-in of H.265 decoder and claims to support 4K video streams. I don't have a 4K HDMI TV set to test this feature. As with the suspend, I think it is still under an experimental stage for LE 8.0.1k (latest as of this writing).

- although I set the video calibration perfectly whenever I play something the screen spills over on all sides, almost hiding buttons. Is that something anybody encountered?I also noticed this issue on my MXQ Pro S905 running LE 8.0.1x (where x=a, .., k) but never bother with it because I use an HDMI2AV dongle with an old analog TV and thought this had something to do with the dongle. Also, I noticed screen spills differ from one stream to the other.

8.0.1k-rc2Still micro stutter when the first line of subtitles is showing up. After that playback is smooth.
This leads to a conclusion that there's something worng with subtitles rendering.
I installed today 8.0.1a to check if the problem was present in previous build and yes, it is.Since you mentioned it, I carefully checked my MXQ Pro S905 running on an LE v8.0.1j connected to an old analog TV through a mini HDMI2AV adapter and could not detect such an issue with the 1st line of subtitles. Perhaps, my eyes are not sharp enough to detect the anomaly, or perhaps this problem does not exist on my MXQ Pro S905 unit, or even perhaps such an anomaly gets filtered out by the mini HDMI2AV adapter.
