Just for the record: You have to install libssl1.0-dev instead of libssl-dev on Debian Stretch.

You need edit kernel and brcmfmac_sdio-firmware. Here is my kernel and files: s!AgTgVAcQjmx26A_-2DkPb9lczdPNPlease tell me the magic how you got bcm4335 bt/wifi to work with this kernel and the other files.

Hi drieschelfirst of all thanks for your hard work
i have a round s82 s802
Buy Products Online from China Wholesalers at Aliexpress.com
and i have flashed it with
LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-7.0.2-2-devel.zipand its works like a charm
when i try to flash it with the LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-8.0.0-2-alpha-devel.zip i get signature failed
any ideas whats could be wrong
/ Stainless
The signature should be okay but I will try on one of my boxes!I have a MXIII 2GB box as well, which exact version of the LE firmware did you use? MXIII-1G, S82, M8 or T8?
Your answer will save me a lot of trial and error!
Try the one for S82 in the testing folder (Index of /LibreELEC/S82/testing). -
here is results:LibreELEC:~ # udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/sdio\:0001\:1/

E: DEVPATH=/devices/platform/aml_sdhc.0/mmc_host/sdio/sdio:0001/sdio:0001:1

Did not work.. please see screenshot
using putty on win10 machine.Hmm. Can you check the path manually? Start with /sys/bus/sdio/devices/ and use the path auto completion (tab). You could also check /sys/bus/sdhc... but I never had one with sdhc yet. If that doesn't work, we need more infos about the wifi chip. You could open the box and check which wifi chip is inside.
PS: Maybe someone knows a better way to figure out which chip is in the box.

The wifi works on this oe version 15.2 unfortunatley:
Openelec 5.95.3 Beta 2 ENY M8 2G (Square) With amcodec boblightd support - FreakTab.comAny way to get the wifi settings from that to this:
Index of /LibreELEC/M8Please provide the same infos I requested here: LibreELEC

Hi all, i need help with compiling libreelec from Driesch for OTT M8S 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM with BCM4335 WIFI (Cheap clone). When i extract .dtd file from the original Android firmware it shows that this board is n200c_1g (same Android system seen nearly 2 GB of RAM) and if compiled with original.dtd file from Android firmware libreelec see only 817 MB of RAM and LAN works. When compiled with n200c_1g placed in the Linux folder, then the LAN not working and libreelec see 670 MB RAM. When compiled with n200c_2g.dtd then device Stucks at boot logo. If I replace 3f0 to 7f0 for the memory of the original .dtd file from Android firmware then the device also stuck at boot logo. Any help is welcome. If I can collect some more informations about the BCM4335 chip, I can try to activate the correct firmware for it.
Please type the following in a ssh console and post the result here:

DrieschelI saw the new LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator, looks great, question, will S802 and other Amlogic Devices be included in future built?
You can use the USB/SD Creator with an image from your harddrive.

sorry i dont understand what you mean by to see them? is that a command of some sort to type in somewhere?
You have to type "ls -la /storage" in your ssh console on the box. Check the attachment. -
doggie
Please provide more infos to the boxes. -
gazrob
The .config folder is to 100% in the storage folder. All files and folders with a leading dot are hidden on posix systems. If you wanna see them, you can use ie. "ls -la /storage". For more info rtfm (man ls). -
Hi guys I can't seem to get my remote to work am I putting it in correct place?
I'm putting in /storage/.config which it then appears at the bottom of that location near host.conf and samba.conf is this correct or is it another directory I need?
[hr]
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong lol
I've downloaded the original m8 remote zip from justme page on freak tab then extracted the zip went through etc/system/to find conf file then ssh into etc then dropped conf file in there? Is that right? A dummies walk through would be greatly appreciatedYou are maybe using the wrong remote.conf. What LE build are you using?
-
Got it working, fine finally. Thanks very much, for the help.Great! How did you get it working?
-
I think it is the same but not completely sure. They look identical. I looked online for remote.conf file but could not find anything for a T8-S, only for the T8.You can try if the IR from the T8-S is also working with your T8.

What installation on NAND storage? The link I gave you are installation instructions on sdcard.
-
Hi Onur,
as far as I know WeTek Play is able to boot from sdcard. There you can find installation instructions for installing LibreELEC on sdcard: Installation - LibreELEC. Good luck.

When it boots that is the first thing comes up "Amlogic Mali 450 quad core S802"
I am sorry but I don't have another idea we can try.
I would like to say thank you Drieschel for this wonderfull build...I am running this build on my M8 ( two years old and square model and old remote ) think it is an original one.
To get my old model ( roundish ) remote working i used Codesnakes his Remote.config file from his OE version 6.0.3...
Most things are working perfect.. only thing i would like to see it working is the analog audio output... so far no build has this working..
Regards Ozzy.
Glad to hear that it's working. Can you show me a photo from the remote control? And please post the link to the working remote.conf. Thanks.
