Thanks
It should open retroarch and list the cores you can run the rom with...then save the core you use so next time it just run the rom..
Thanks

What is the command for ES es_systems.cfg to launch retroarch and ask what core to use?thanks
edit:To be more clear I need this for a custom rom folder...basically I added a favorites folder to ES with different roms which need different cores and I need retroarch to ask for which core to use on rom launch..
AFAIK, only 2.5" USB HDD enclosures that have this command in their conntroller can spin-down HDD on Android. I think that there is no way Android OS can do that as Linux/Windows can. But this is another topic...
What I mean is that most modern Hdd's put themselves to sleep regarding the OS..Actually Hdparm is slowly falling into obsolescence for this reason..
Is your Hdd a very old one?Mine spin down on their own...not sure if it's due to hdparm enabled by default on LE but don't think so...most modern hdd's should do so..
Do you mean you want to wake up your s912 device from another device? Is your hardware capable of doing so?Libreelec has a built in WOL if the other device is running LE or you can use the addon for more options.. but it all depends from your s902 device and network card if it is capable of receiving packet..
I mean it could be an issue with AEL offline scrapper that changes year and title for Megadrive. I need to take a look but if it is an AEL's issue we must wait until developer fixes it.
In the meanwhile manual edition is the key
Ok for those having trouble to scrape Megadrive metadata with offline scraper download this:Sega MegaDrive - fixed.xml.txt...rename it to "Sega MegaDrive.xml" replace this with the one in Storage\.kodi\addons\plugin.program.advanced.emulator.launcher\GameDBInfo
my installed release is this one:
LibreELEC-RPi.arm-8.2.1.img.gz
Do you think the developers are interested to fix this bug?
Where I had to complaint other than the support forum?
Download LibreELEC-RPi.arm-8.2.2.tar and put it in .update folder and restart and no need to complain.
8.2.2 for RPi2(3)?
Thanks!
Don't think there are any changes effecting the rpi
I ll take that Rpi3 if you don't need it ![]()
If you r having buffering on 1080p videos don't blame your rpi...but blame whatever plugins you'r using..
I think the Rpi is a good choice for a media player and I blame buffering mostly on slow sources feeding the Rpi either on local network or plugins you use..
If you think it's too slow check your sd card or overclock/cooling or better still run Libreelec from HDD or SSD..
I will take a look but I guess it is something related with AEL addon itself.
Do you mean an addon setting from my end?All other launchers scraped fine..I just changed the Label for my HDD and had to rescan all launchers...all other launchers scanned fine the new location for my roms, assets and metadata from offline scraper...when I got to megadrive it scraped artwork for each game normally but titles where just showing 1995,1994,1996 so I had to edit the json paths manually to the new location with text editor...that worked fine
Just to let you know that Megadrive AEL metadata offline scraper is not working properly...showing date 1995 etc instead of title...not sure if it's something I m doing wrong but all other launchers scraping fine..Thanks
I'm using ASUS RT-AC68U with the latest official firmware.
Yes, I tried to set SMB1 in Kodi SMB client settings but it didn't help me. It still wants me to enter the password over and over again.
When I go back to 8.0.2 everything works again.
Try set both to "None" should work
Or try AEL (Advanced Emulator Launcher)Tested or Rpi and works good and you can add any games to your skin anywhere, favourites etc..Still needs retroarch to launch games and exits Kodi with every game change...If you want to stay on retroarch without having to go back to AEL to change game you can scrape assets from retroarch itself and build game librarys and playlists but those wont show up in kodi..
Thx Mario, will try sandisk next time. Nope, no overclocking
Choose a class 10 sandisk they are all good but I doubt your issue is faulty sd cards to be honest unless you are not buying authentic ones..
Thanks SMP. In my case I have used 2 brands - Kingston and Samsung, and it has failed in both cases.
Sandisk never let me down..are you overclocking? For better stability boot from sd and run Libreelec from hdd..
Xonfluence
You can very well run Xorg and browsers on the RPi under LibreELEC using Docker.
Interesting..May I ask if you ever heard of anyone that managed to stream from a Sling Box on Rpi?
