Was there any workaround regarding the whitespaces naming issue?I would like to get normal file naming without the "-" but as far as I know comskip won't work with whitespaces...

Hi I hope this is the right place to ask. I have bought a Pi 4 and the Pimoroni Fan Shim. The fan is on constantly however they provide a way to install a script on Raspbian to control the fan with it only coming on at certain temps.
Is there a way to run a terminal in Libreelec to install this or another way around it at all?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reply but I got few questions..
Server is in another country across europe
1)don't think that can be done in my case
2)same as above
3)same as above
4)that works from PC with WinScp but can I have an sftp connection to server from Libreelec?
Probably can be done with Emby or Plex but I m trying to find out if there is another way?

Is there a way I can download recordings directly to Libreelec instead of streaming them?
I understand I can download recordings from TvHeadened UI..but I m trying to skip having to go to PC to download them.
Would be nice if there was an option in TvHeadend client.
Setup is remote TvHeadend server LibreElec Rpi3b
Frontened is Libreelec on Rpi2 using TvHeadend HTSP client..
Thanks

Added libssl and libcrypto, still hitting a snag.
I don't think Gamestarter is yet updated to work properly with latest Rpi4 and LE 9.1.....
It does work with LE 9.1 with some tweaks with RPi 2 & 3.
Maybe in the meantime you can try this with Rpi 4

Gamestarter Install is OK, but reboot when launch RetroArch or EmulationStation.
libass add change nothing...
Install LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.1.002
Any help?
There shouldn't be any issues...all is working fine..
Did you add both files to the folder?
If you did better you post some logs...mainly

Only ShaderToy works for me on Rpi

Is no one having scraping issues in 9.1.002? Seriously - this is becoming a worry.
Probably is the video tags issue...go to system-media-video-use video tags-disable

Retroarch ties the inner game logic to the refresh rate
In retroarch they work fine
QuoteYou used this addon for Kodi Retroplayer?
Yes that's the one from Libreelec Repo....

Was Kodi running at 50 or 60Hz?
Tryed both..no difference...actually I tryed all available frame rates down to 29

Try to edit guisettings.xml
ssh
edit line 321 in /storage/.kodi/userdata/guisettings.xml to 1920x1080@60hz
ssh
Not tested but should work....take a guisettings.xml backup just in case.

Which games in particular did you try to play? NTSC or PAL games? I'm not that familiar with Retroplayer but it could be possible that NTSC games stutter at 50Hz Kodi refresh rate. Also it could be possible that something is wrong with the addon & pcsx_rearmed wasn't build with NEON support but then it would immediately stutter when you start the core is started and not even intro videos would run smooth.
The game in particular being tested was Tomb Raider...I gave it a go too myself and was glitchy (skipped frames)not sure how to descibe it..I tried the USA version assuming it is NTSC and did change to NTSC from PCSX addon settings but that didn't change anything....intro video ran fine tough if I remember well..

If not, is there another way to make analog audio via USB work?
Without dtparam=audio=on you will get a no soundcard detected message when you ssh aplay -l
Also with dtparam=audio=on you will get the old type audio alsa options in kodi audio settings where you choose hdmi vs analog which where removed for some reason with LE9..
I am assuming that while analog audio on rpi is
and hdmi audio is
there is a big possibility that your device will be listed as card 1 device 0
So in retroarch audio settings-audio device enter
and that should output the RA audio to your card

Yes, that looks to be the only option that works. It's a shame that it's not integrated with Kodi but runs as a separate environment, but at least it works. I did find the framecounter option and turned it off, not sure why it was on.
I have since found out that I do have audio, but only via the HDMI interface to the TV, not via the USB sound blaster (ish thingy) plugged into my pi. Will this setting solve that? If not, is there another way to make analog audio via USB work?
you ll need to add audio device output to retroarch audio device..
config.txt
ssh
Note which is your usb audio device number..
Should look something like this
card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Enter that into Settings->Audio->Audio device in the retroarch GUI
like this "hw:0,3" without the "

Thanks...done it here too...wasn't sure if it was still an issue...but it was and now is working fine..

Don't worry regarding OpenGL...probably that is an issue only concerning retroplayer....use Gamestarter and you r sorted...and to put your mind at rest yesterday I tried Tombraider on retroarch and it works flawless..
