Unfortunately no news on this, the cause of the issue is still unknown.

Realman Please post your debug Kodi log taken right after you get a freeze, also kernel log taken at the same time would be appreciated.

Junoxe BTW WeTek Pro Remote supports learning so it should be possible to set the same code for Power button as for original remote. However I have not tried the learning function yet.
-
Junoxe What you mean by dualboot support? If you mean toggling boot source using Power button on the remote, then no, it will not support that.

sweetthdevil You can run LE on Hub only from SD card, it cannot boot from USB stick.
-
sweetthdevil Just be aware that after installing LE to internal memory you'll lose your warranty, so the recommended way is to run LE from SD card.

TheX You can't easily do that. It is better to run LibreELEC completely from SD card. You can backup all of your data from existing installation. Install LibreELEC to an SD card, boot it, and restore your backup.

hellspawn The build I posted uses a workaround rather than a solution for the problem. I hope I'll find a proper solution soon, then we'll include the fix in one of the next releases.

hellspawn Check you have the "Settings->System->Audio->Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC3) capable receiver" option enabled. It is disabled by default.

Aroosha Perhaps there are some differences in picture quality on WP2 vs some TVs or satellite receivers, but for sure there can't be any difference in LE vs Android on the same box when using HW video decoding. Both use same kernel and same HW decoder and video renderer.
Make sure you have HW acceleration enabled for all codecs in Kodi settings.

In 4K display mode 1080p/i video gets upscaled to 4K. Kodi never switches to lower modes, in that case it switches only refresh rate.
-
Yes, I mean screen resolution.
-
It is hard to understand what differences you see in image quality without being able to see it personally or detailed description of the differences.
What display mode you have set in Kodi?
-
What exactly you don't like in picture quality? What encoding and resolution of the channels you watch?
