Why not just change the DNS servers in your router? Or it's your neighbors' router and you are using his internet connection against his will? (Okay, perhaps I'm exaggerating now).

    Yes, I'm pretty sure.

You're asking in the General support section.

    You mention xrandr.

You haven't bothered to mention yet what type of hardware you are using.

I'm assuming your are using Intel x86-64 hardware, as xrandr works fine with x86-64 hardware.

Or aren't you using intel based hardware?

In Kodi, the movie scraper is an add-on, and should be updated automatically if the box has a working internet connection.

And I think you are referring to 'repositories'. The movie scraper comes from Kodi's own repository and should be auto-updated.

As far as I know, SD card corruption caused by (our) software has come down to a very minimum. Most sd card corruptions will be caused by flaky card overall quality. Use one of the well-known sd card manufacturers and you should be fine. Another choice would be to choose a sd card which is used in dashcams or video cameras. They tend to have a better record of data retention.

The biggest user of disk access is Kodi's video library file, which is being updated with every video access, start and stop. Using an external mysql database will limit wear and tear on the sd card. Writing new log files also eats a fair number of data.

In the latest Raspberry Pi firmwares, it is possible to boot from USB media. Connect an external SSD with TRIM capabilities and you should be fine the next couple of years.

Kodi scraping works fine, provided you have the latest updates of those scraper add-ons.

We prefer to have kodi.log files from your LibreELEC attempts, though. Otherwise, the Kodi forum is a better place to start.

You may have upgraded from OpenELEC of a couple of versions earlier, as nowadays languages are installed as separate add-ons. Languages can be selected by navigating to Settings / Interface / Regional, and then choose the language (and keyboard) of your choice.

Yes, Estuary is the new default Kodi skin as per v17, Krypton. But if you prefer Confluence, you can still install it as well. Some navigation has changed because of the changed internal workings of Kodi v17 Krypton.

If your GUI has no settings at all, you could try renaming/deleting the .kodi/userdata/guisettings.xml file via SSH, and have Kodi rebuild a new one after a restart of Kodi. Via SSH: systemctl restart kodi

OldBoy : Perhaps you are not yet very familiar with our forum rules as well as Kodi rules.

I strongly suggest you (re-)read them, especially the part the focuses on piracy and banned add-ons.

In a quick glance at your log, I noticed it is infested with some 18 repositories that are mentioned on Kodi's blacklist.

Some of which that are known to cause havoc in Kodi's functionality, by the way.

Needless to say, you are escorted back to the door of this forum, as no support will be given in your case.

The minimum amount of information that you gave is certainly a factor of why people are not responding. The fact that we are simply not able to look inside your computer from a distance means, that we need that information in some way or another. The best way is to provide us with a debug enabled kodi.log file, which should give us a first clue on your problem.
