Then in future, simply do not create any threads on the LibreELEC forum anymore, since you simply cannot afford to lose any of your precious time

Back to 8.2.3 and rr are gone
No logs, no problems to solve.

Usually the grunt of /storage is contained in the large Thumbnails folder. See what size that is, and delete when possible.
I take it the 5.5GB tar file also occupies space in /storage, and so the chicken & egg story begins.
It should also be possible to select a .tar backup file for a restore from a network location, so it will not double-burden the /storage partition.

The RPi has specific hardware, it is not a basis for any Android version. And vice versa, the same goes for the Picopix projector. I doubt that any LibreELEC build will work on it.
-
Kodi for Android needs at least 5.0, so Gingerbread is a prehistoric version.
I would use the projector as a state-of-the-art bookend.
-
The system part of LibreELEC is readonly for a reason.
Any data/settings/addons stuff is done in the /storage partition.
-
What can i change with settings to be able to start the Pi without a connected TV?
Try adding this to the config.txt file:
#Always force HDMI output and enable HDMI sound
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_drive=2
Otherwise, do a fresh install of LibreELEC onto your SD card in case of possible sd corruption.
-
You can run that .bin file from a Terminal session, by typing: sudo ./LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Linux-64bit.bin
Also have a look at Installation of LibreELEC [LibreELEC.wiki]

Have you already looked at the downloads page?
We have an installer for each of the 3 major OS'es.

Please note that Milhouse's builds are to be considered 'bleeding edge', so something like pre-alpha. Anything can happen.
Each of his builds has release info, and afaik, he may test some test on the side of regular builds, but I cannot find any link to that at the moment.
But again, AMD Ryzen and Linux is still a work-very-much-in-progress. About the Linux kernel: v4.16-rc7 has been released, the Final build is likely next week. We'll have to wait on that before we want to do some proper testing with that kernel.
-
AMD Ryzen requires Linux kernel 4.15 at least AFAIK, and LibreELEC is not there yet. Milhouse is at 4.14.29.
Other people have done some building of their own with 4.15 with various fixes, and got Ryzen to work.
There is a small problem where LibreELEC prefers to stick to the Linux LTS kernels (4.14), while AMD Ryzen will require Linux 4.16 for proper workings... No decision has been made yet afaik.

Corrupt SD cards is always an option, but other than that we didn't receive mentions of similar reboot issues.
Submit your kodi.log via pastebinit.com , and perhaps we can see a cause in one way or another.

I recall reading that...
Google for WannaCry if you want to know why Microsoft FINALLY got rid of the old SMBv1 protocol, and made SMBv2 mandatory.
You better get your network set up properly, and make sure your Windows/Samba server is correctly installed with proper authentication and no more network browsing. Otherwise you are still keeping your door wide open for intruders.

The RPi 3B+ is only days old, and you're the first one to report it. We'll have to confirm it first. RSS is off by default these days because of the relative big impact it can have, and so not many people will have noticed something wrong with it. So, no it's not a common issue (yet).

LibreELEC uses 2 partitions: a system and a storage partition. Upgrading will replace the files on the system partition, and possibly some configuration files will also be updated once the new system is running. Your movies are not to be touched in any way.
That said, it is IMHO preferable to have your movies on on ore more separate disks altogether, so you can use whatever system disk/drive necessary for viewing your movies.

SPMC is currently only available as a Jarvis build.
There were a couple of scattered Krypton attempts by SPMC, but it is likely to remain that way for some time to come, as the SPMC developer Koying has recently moved over to the MrMC team.
Also, HDR is still a work-in-progress in Kodi Leia. -
Nope. There may be changes on hand for Kodi Leia, but currently there is only the option for a cloned display.
