Will upgrading LIbreelec delete movies I have loaded on my machine?

    Hi all,

    I m upgrading my libreelec box to the latest version. I have 200 movies I have put on the box and want to make sure the image won't delete them.

    I am 99% sure that answer is no, but id like to make sure

    LibreELEC uses 2 partitions: a system and a storage partition. Upgrading will replace the files on the system partition, and possibly some configuration files will also be updated once the new system is running. Your movies are not to be touched in any way.

    That said, it is IMHO preferable to have your movies on on ore more separate disks altogether, so you can use whatever system disk/drive necessary for viewing your movies.
