Stupid question
any solution for android ?
Pls ask in Android Forum - No Andoid support here
The first fresh install failed in some points - therefore I said try a new fresh install optional using another sd card.
I installed Openelec and Libreelec many times on raspberry and amlogic items - sometimes a fresh install failed.
Bits are also reportet by AVR - but I never saw 12 bits
Dose your AVR/TV actually say YcbCr 444:30bit (3*10bit) or is it just the HD/UHD(HDR) that changes?
Yes - AVR reports YcbCr 444 or 422
TV reports SDR/HDR
Either I´m stupid or lucky.
Checked a few min ago.
Recorded TV 720p(SDR) - OK
Recorded TV 1080p(SDR) - OK
4k 10Bit HDR - OK
My combination box-AVR-TV is working well - TV switching from SDR to HDR and back to SDR, also 420/422/444 depending on video file
Maybe some combinations are not working (my TV is from 2017, my AVR from 2016)
Doesn't work on my boxes, I'do some tests;)
I didn´t check every video file, but playback looks OK.
Some files checked the colour space - all OK - SDR/HDR is recognized by the TV
I´m only using my 4k TVs(connected vie AVR) to play video or music files from NAS - no live TV, IPTV, DVB-S2 tuner etc.
Can you explain what you mean by "automatic", and how you selected that?
I do nothing - colour space changes automatic to 444,10Bit playing video
I use automatic color space - Why should I change it manual
they all just say all you need to do is enable SSH in the menu (or during setup).
Yes - only enable SSH in settings, that´s all
You got connection refused - SSH is disabled.
Try a fresh installation and wired network connect
Another check:
netcat -vvzw1 192.168.1.133 22
Output must be something like
Connection to 192.168.1.133 22 port [tcp/ssh] succeeded!
Try ssh from Linux with -v option
ssh -v root@<ip>
Just don't know what was going wrog yesterday.
Maybe wrong sequence and misunderstanding.
Without the vfd.conf corresponding to Your hardware the installation will fail.
LIBREELEC_DISK changed to STORAGE
You have to modify some steps
Any ideas?
Yes
/dev/mmcblk1p1 is the wrong partition
You are using LE 8.9 - not LE 8.2
Partition layout has been changed in LE 8.9
How can I achieve this?
Use the tar command to create the archive, copy the archive to destination and extract
I'm glad it works great for you
There has been minor issues of which I acknowledge but these are mainly introduced by the Kodi team, some I have been responsible for but nothing to the degree of what is reported.
There is too much inconsistency with testing and too much b/s from users who don't know what they are doing and cause half the problems themselves, ie dtb issues/ installing to internal/ not providing kodi and kernel logs/ changing sysfs kernel flags/ using build threads as a q&a/ telling me my decisions are bad.
It would help if developers had the ability to moderate their own threads but we don't and I can't make head or tail of things because of all the noise that is generated.
I'm burned out from it all and I'm not the only one, it's ashame because when I started I was full of enthusiasm for LE on Amlogic but the forums and past issues with how LE is run has totally drained me to the point I don't want to carry on anymore and that is why I have asked for the thread to be closed.
In my opinion some threads need more moderation, cleaning up all self created problems etc.
I´m working in IT since 1993 - I know a lot about dumbest assumable users
