Hope that all makes sense?
Better buy a new AVR supporting HDR/UHD Atmos etc.

100 Mbit interface, but that should be enough for all regular 4K content.
My main concern why I got only around 30 Mbit speed ?
100Mbit is not enough for some 4k videos - we had a long thread about this in the forum
I don´t know why Your network speed is to slow - Know nothing about Your network hardware

905X using USB Gbit adapter -> PC WIN10pro
iperf -c 192.x.x.x -u -p 12345 -t 30 -b 250M
22.1 MBytes 185 Mbits/sec
Regarding that any suggestion ?
Are You sure using Gbit network ?

and as long as the bitrate doesn't stay above 40mbits to long, I have no problem playing 4k HDR files. (the host has Gbit net)
My movie bitrate ~65mbits
SMB host has Gbit net
NFS host(NAS) has bonded dual Gbit net
My conclusion:
Network protocol is very important if You want to play high bitrate video

Am I missing somthing her??? I have no problem playing 4k from windows sharer. I can even play the jellyfish demo at 140mbps 4k 10bit hdr.
Try a 90min 4k HDR video.
My experience -> NFS is better than SMB
-
so I assume I don't have any other option than move to windows server 2016 and setup an NFS server
Or move to an NAS system - cheap & easy to use

What exactly do you mean by "a little piece dc-fix"?
dc-fix is adhesive foil - You can get it in many colours.
I use a little piece black foil, put it on the LCD - that´s it.
I don´t want to look at the "boot" message running LE and I don´t need to show the time running Android.
I don´t want any driver in LE to support this useless gadget - may be there will be some other issues or side effects like hyperion problems ....

everything is fine except when I try to play any 4K or 4K HDR content from my Windows 10 share (using wired connection)
it's start lagging and after few seconds (5) it's slows down to like 1-2 fps (HW acceleration enabled)
I attached an external HDD and tried some sample which all was fine.
That´s it.
WIN 10 share connection isn´t working(most cases) if You try to play 4k videos - I can confirm it´s not working
You have to attach local HDD/SSD or an NAS using NFS protocol - I can confirm it works
not only some samples

How do I activate the option to force the RGB setting?
Via SSH command

S905 doesn't support HDR. you need S905X SoC
-
Until now seems to work well....
Don´t matter now
