I have a s905x box working with usb DVB S2 ( DVBSKY S960) link and tvheadend

everything is stable enough but I am looking for more responsive libreelec interface especially big channel list

My question is does using S905D box with built in tuner improves the overall interface speed? for example the channel list and transition speed? I read that passing the dvb stream through the usb cases some load on the processor but I cannot make sure of this information

Also do you think that external tuner is more sensitive to weak signals than the internal one?

I hope someone can help me with the answers

Does this card works well with libreelec Generic x86 (64-bit), you can write the libreelec image on a usb drive and cheak the scan result on any laptop.

Yes Its is DVB-S2 HEVC/UHD so it should work if you have the right decoder

DVB-S2 HEVC/UHD channels - Astra 2E/2F/2G at 28.2°E

My tv is only 1080p however the channels are working perfectly without any stuttering or lag and I think it will work on 4K tv

I am using DVBSKy S960 DVB-S/S2 USB with latest kszaq build on amlogic s905x Beelink MINI MXIII II

Every thing is working properly thanks to kszaq, I highly recommend it rather than the geniatech v3.

You can find it on ebay, little bit expensive but fully supported in linux and libreelec.

Thank you all for your help, I ordered Xiaomi remote clone and paired it successfully with my s905x Libreelec box and every thing is OK

The build quality is not that good however it connects as a remote control not as game pad and working the price is half the original one

I ordered Xiaomi bluetooth remote control to be used with my amlogic s905x box libreelec 8.0.2b (2017-06-12) , when I pair it it appears as gamepad icon and no key is working .

I used it with libreelec on a pc and it can be paired and all keys are working out of the box

Is there anything I can do ?

Hi everyone

Is there any method to disable the internal bluetooth chip so I can use my external usb bluetooth dongle ?

Device Beelink mini mx iii ii with libreelec krypton installed on nand. It has dual band QCA9377 chip.

The reason for that request is to pair my new bluetooth keyboard ( xiaomi ) with the external bluetooth dongle, remote is paired with internal bluetooth but there is no response when I press the buttons.

I tried the same remote with generic libreelec on pc connected with external usb dongle and it paired and worked perfectly .

Is that a kernel limitation in amlogic?

Firstly thank you for your time and efforts for maintaining this forum and helping other members.

My device is mxiii ii with 2/16 gb and running latest kszaq build 8.0.1b from nand and using the normal ir remote control that came with the device.

It is working reasonably well as my main libreelec device, I have dvbsky 960 connected directly to the usb port and using vdr as backend for freesat UK.

I wonder if someone can help me with my request, I want to use keymap editor to assign 4 remote buttons to work as the 4 coloured buttons for vdr clinet specific settings.

I tried to search but couldn't find any coloured buttons to remap within the addon .

Also is there any recommended advanced settings xml files for pvr that is good for amlogic 905x.
