It never works, for whatever reasons, so it is useless to have it, and only causes confusion and fasle expectations

It seems this has been corrected.

If auto update is enabled it will downgrade to 9.2.0. I'm on 9.2.1, and this was downloaded after enabling auto-update:

I was running on 9.2.1, and auto update was disabled. After enabling it an update was found but this downgraded my system to 9.2.0. Auto update will not update to 9.2.2

Is there a reason it's not auto-updating?

When will the automatic update get fixed?

It took a couple of tries, but I now have a working build of 7.90.003 with kernel 4.4.13!!

Thanks, that should get me started

The point is not having to run old builds, so: no.

The latest kernels don't play nice with the system I'm using, and a solution is not apparent, so I want to build LE using an older kernel.
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do that? I have a VM that builds the stock just fine, I just can't figure out how to tell it to use a different kernel.Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the exact same problem... is there a solution for the current builds?Thank you in advance...
Nope. It would help if you reported it in the testbuilds thread (LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0))

...besides IR auto repeat not working:
- power on by IR remote not working (apparently related to the auto repeat issue
- massive ripping and tearing in video when playing more than one file and only with debuglogging disabled (my guess this is a modesettingdriverissue). To see what happens: qJ8jThis is on a I have a Zotac Zbox CI520, which has a core i3 4020y with lspci and lsusb

Still broken in the 0509 release
-
I have a Zotac Zbox CI520, which was running the #0419 build. After I installed the #0503 something is f'ed up with the power and or IR-settings. After a shutdown it won't power up with the remote, I have to do it manually.
Rolling back to 419 solves it, so this broke with some build in between.
Edit: Build #0421 is the last one that worked.
