I have to think this is a PVR bug but has anyone had issue in which TVHeadend EPG doesn't close after you push button to switch channel? Channel changes but EPG stays on top.

Could you please be kind and point me, step by step, how to do this? Which file to download (.zip or else) and how to do an update? Thanks
download LibreELEC-S802.M8.arm-7.0.2-2-devel.zip . Unzip and put the 2 files on SD card and do toothpick install.
After install complete, download LibreELEC-S802.arm-8.0.1a-M8.tar . With M8 turned on and connected to your network, login to box or connect via windows and put tar file in "update" folder. Reboot M8.
Say Thank You to Demetris

What would be advantage of OSMC over LibreELEC?
-
Installed LibreELEC-S802.M8.arm-8.0.RC4 last night. .zip version wouldn't install directly via SDcard so first installed drieschel 7.02 build and then updated via 8.0RC4 tar. Eny M8 working great. Only thing I see missing is BT support, can it be added? Thank you for continuing support the S802

Awesome, thanks alf1! Might I suggest you update first post in thread comments which says, "scanning is only partially supported, buggy..."
-
Is the issue with scanning channels with internal S2 tuner a software issue or related to S2 tuner being low quality?
-
Will this build work on an M8?

I agree with you that for many devices, there isn't much subjective difference which is what lead me to wonder if any benchmark existed. If not and there is no interest, that's OK too.
-
I understand your comments but couldn't you say that for any benchmarking? One beauty of LibreELEC is the wide variety of hardware it can be installed on but it would be nice to get a some idea in terms of differences in performance. The idea isn't really to benchmark the OS, rather the hardware. People will have OCD with or without benchmarking

Happily running LibreELEC on a few different devices and just wondered if there was any add-on or way to run a benchmark to compare different hardware running LibreELEC?

Hi balbes150, loaded latest LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-8.0.1.tar 20170225, working well so far on Tronsmart MXIII Plus including BT Anything in particular you'd like me to try? Thank you
-
Hi balbes150, loaded latest LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-8.0.1.tar 20170224, working well so far on Tronsmart MXIII Plus. Looking forward to you adding BT

Collected updated version (20170208). Changed the settings the WiFi and BT. On Tronsmart MIII Plus (v 2.2) everything works. Please to those who have the opportunity to check the work WiFi and BT. And write the result on what models work or no WiFi and BT.ADD
Added another version of the image for testing, with a modified kernel configuration. If there is a wish to search the directory 20170206/TEST_KERNELLoaded LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-7.0.3.3.tar on Tronsmart MXIII (plus?) with GigE LAN. WiFi works great. BT can see devices and I can pair with FireTV remote however it is non-functional.

Hi balbes150, thank you for the latest builds. I updated from your prior build by placing LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-7.0.3.3.tar in update folder and rebooted. All looks good so far.

Hi balbes150 - Any new builds on horizon?

Any news on getting the BT to work? Do any of you guys know what's the chip of BT?
I don't really need WiFi, but BT would come in handy to pair gaming controllers! Thanks!
As kszaq mentioned, hciattach for Qualcomm/Atheros BT is missing. If it become available he will add it.
