Think so Tim, will try again I guess I should burn LibreELEC-S802.M8.arm-8.0.RC4.img.gz to SD or USB and try the reset button on power up, will this attempt to but from SD/USB without affecting my Android Setup in NAND?
then work my way through the other IMG versions?

Great spec box, great build quality, just stuck on Android 4.4.2 so stuck on Kodi 16.1

I love all the work that is going on here, I have tried a few images on my EWEAT box but cant seem to get them to boot from SD Card.
Anyone else tried running LibreElec on this box?
I have posted the specs before. Any advice/help most gratefully accepted.
Ideally I want to boot from SD card to prove it works before attempting to flash to NAND.

If anyone is having problems installing demetris le files try these then update with demetris tar file.

I cant find a Openelec IMg.gz file that looks like it will dual boot from SD card.. can someone please assist me? I tried a couple of LibreElec builds from the first post but get the error

Also I am looking to just do the SD Card Dual Boot at the moment, if possible and not eMMC until I have tested.
It will better use an openelec image 1st and use the tar image to update to LESent from the Island of Venus

Tried 2 different images with 2 different SD Cards, when I boot with RESET Button, I get the message:
File System corruption detected
any key or power off your system within the next 120 seconds
I powered down the box, pulled the SD and it still boots to Android OK.
Is there anything I can try, didnt want to risk letting the auto-repair run after 120 secs in case it trashes my eMMC

I agree, at least have a way of disabling the GONG without having to manually delete the Sound File.
I can't be the only person on the planet to actually buy one of these LOL

Hi I have an EWEAT EW802 later they renamed it to EW812 so not sure if it is an 802 or 812 SoC but the firmware is common for the model(s) and Spec apears the same for both.

was a great spec'd device when I bought it, but support was a bit lacking
Stuck on Android KitKat so I can upgrade to v17 “Krypton”
anything else I can provide please let me know
