Looks like a Dead End Street. That was a short trip down the In Built Availink Tuner Experiment for me. 
The open-source driver was originally written for TBS5520 and later adapted by afl1 for Avl6862.

I have seen his efforts and work on TV-Headend forums.
I don't know whether there is any development ongoing for the driver, perhaps crazycat can answer this.
Having a 1080p TV i am more than happy with the picture and running of LE.
I purchased the Inbuilt Tuner Boxes (signature) as it is a really good option for my use.
I'll keep watching development of the builds and see what happens with this Tuner.
The Cheap Winsat s905d box runs really well except for the Tuner Scan issue.
The box is an M8 which has a Linux proprietary version of Kodi. (ArnuBox)
I would recommend this.
1. Flash oem android firmware
2. Burn LE image to sdcard
3. Try to boot with toothpick
4. Done
I always knew this would be the case.
Once i Flash Android there is no going back to the original Linux on the Box.
Their Android Firmware is readily Available but the Linux Image will not be made available after Android is Flashed.
Linux is Flashed by them and shipped out.

You can retry boot from sd from .img , all will go ok now

Hi everyone I have mxq pro 4k s905 p201 S905Q_v2.0 marked on mother board. I can run Libreelec from sd card but when I try to run from nand i get blank screen. Can someone please help me to resolve this issue

Are you using the correct device tree ?
What Version of LE are you using and what are the Ethernet / Ram Specs of that MXQ so as to use correct Device Tree from below.
Get into a good habit of disclosing info or make a signature in your control panel.

The DVB tuner will only work if it is based on the same chips as KI Pro: AVL6862 + R848.

I wasn't expecting this Tuner to be in this Box.
Sold to me as DVB/T ONLY Tuner.
Better Specs than expected. No good to me as we only have DVB/T In AU.
But good for the rest of the world. 
Is this because there is no source code available from the Chinese chipmaker?

I tried but Black Screen. I believe this Box has a Non Standard Partition which is locked down. Way over my head but i am sure it is the issue.
I can Boot SD Card now which was half the battle. I may flash Android on it and try again.
At least you can boot the box now via SD. Half way to a solution.

That got my Box Booting off SD Card straight away.
I did get this to work by SDcard and am running 8.2rc1 on my MXIII-G 2g/8g.
Download Libreelec - see post on page 476 page 32 - I used the 7.0.1c link and downloaded this image -
1- Download "Enable SD card dual boot" zip file, extract & copy files to sdcard/thumb drive (I used sdcard) - OpenELEC-MX3G.arm-DualBootSD.zip
The OpenELEC-MX3G.arm-DualBootSD.zip Worked in getting this box to Boot Off SD Card. YAY!
The rest is all downhill because what i believe is a Linux File System Used on this box that will pretty much Lock Out LE
Unless i Flash Android and go again.

Sad to say i gave up. No way i wanted Internal Install and both SD Card / USB boots failed for me.
My box is a Custom Linux Proprietary ROM Installed Internally and Bootloader Locked.
Software updates come over the air.
Pressed for time at the moment and haven't re visited this experiment.

i have a Beelink M18 (S905 with 2GB) and used the DTB gxbb_p200_2GB_1Gbit.dtb, but I cant see my ehternet connection.
Libreelec on its on runs OK, WIFI is recognised.
In dmesg it says: no eth0 found.
I thought that only wifi chips are complicated. Did I something wrong?

Give this a go. I have a similar box with OTG and i vaguely recall that is the device tree for m18 as well.
The Android remote.conf is not compatible with the Libreelec Lirc
Follow this thread to create your own remote.conf: Create remote.conf from scratch
But please be aware that if you try to copy&paste the reference remote.conf file from this thread, it will not work since some non ANSI character are present and cause remotecfg to crash.
Instead download this one: remote.conf (I attach it also here, just remove the .txt extension)

I did not realise the original remote.conf had some non ANSI characters in it. Glad you picked that up as i was going to try and make a remote.conf from scratch using that.
I will attempt using the one you supplied and build from scratch.
I tried using it in the .config folder but none of the buttons worked.
Funny thing is i used my TX5 Pro remote.conf and every button on that remote worked including the power.
You have to provide me with original device tree (or a link to firmware) so that I can prepare device tree for that board.
