Because frankly inbuilt single modulator implementations (ie most on the market) are a bit useless for use as a home networked PVR - you are better off with an external dual modulator USB Tuner in that case.
Totally agree. I only just got my K1 Pro to find Muxes & Services with this Tuner using afl1's test build and soon realised recording a tv program on one Mux shuts down any watching or recording on another Mux .
Useless is a nice word for it. The Android TV PVR on this box is total crap with Audio Video Sync Issues.
My TX 7 Box with a Cheap Sony Play TV Twin Tuner attached is a really good combo for me.
Use it every day.

afl1 I don't know what you've done but i just did a FRESH Install of this Test Build on my K1 Pro and for the
FIRST Time EVER
I was able to FIND ALL MUXES in Melbourne Australia using Generic Australia Pre Defined. DVB-T
I Manually Mapped The Services .
No channels were showing as no PVR Client was set up yet.
The issue was TvHeadend HTSP Client was not enabled .
I enabled it / Rebooted and all my Mapped Channels Appeared.

Test Results for another Box I've had for a while and NEVER been able to get any MUXES or Services with any Build.
Tried this Test Build with kszaq device tree gxl_p231_1g_dvb.dtb but failed as below.
Winsat ModelCombo Tuner AVL 6862. S905D 1gb/8gb
Same Tuner avl6862
Same S905D Chip
1gb ram / 8gb memory
Android MARSHMALLOW.
During scanning ALL muxes Failed and No services found.

TBH all the poking around in LibreElec I have not figured out how to change my DNS settings but a script would be great would be cool if I could tie it into the program itself.

I too use DVB-T in Australia (Perth) - quite a lot actually.
For me TvHeadend v4.0.9 & v4.2 works with both the tuner in the WeTek Play2 and the PS3 Dual DVB-T Tuner.
I bet you are in Victoria - where for some reason people have been having LibreELEC DVB-T issues.
Can you point me in the right direction. PlayTV DVB-T Dual Hardware Tuner ?

I purchased one of these and ran it on my new TX7 Pro s905x 2gb/32 gb and all Channels Scanned and Services mapped in Melbourne.
The Twin Tuner is Brilliant in recording 2 programs at the same time slot and watching at the same time.
The K1 Pro Availink Tuner was the problem in my previous issues with scanning due to the Drivers.
My Opinion for anyone thinking of buying the K1 Pro is a Do Not Buy due to the lack of Driver Support.

I had to Activate Minimum SMB1 or Connection Was Refused.
remote.conf copied to .config as i have internal LE with no Android. Works including Power On/Off.
Pretty good performance improvement. This old box still going well.

Hi all
I've installed the latest Libreelec on the Q-Box S905x (tried both SD Card and Internal NAND) and when I either press the power button on the remote or choose shutdown on Kodi it just reboots again. I checked Android and that does either standby or shutdown, depending on what you choose in the options. The box has been updated to the latest firmware.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

Not sure when this power problem started so i haven't rolled back to any other LE version.
Edit : Just Flashed Jarvis 012J and same Behaviour.

A query to the community, in the new versions of MXQ S805 because the compilation of the MXQ version does not work when trying with this version the system does not pass of main logo of processor Amlogic S805, however when I do from the m201d version it works but only recognizes half of the RAM in total 502mb
Fake Ram Box is what you may have ?
