8.2.3.1 works brilliantly on this box using Ethernet I haven’t tried WiFi the only downside for me is the screen showing boot constantly
It does but only for tx3mini with 8.2 builds with the correct DTB
Everything works 8.2.3.1 including the LCD display using 8.90.3 adamg device tree tx3mini
Next day it somehow made it to the sleep mode (red led) ON ITS OWN!, I shut it down and it never woke again.
If you have a Red Light and it won't cold boot or power on from remote but have a Red standby Light you have a bad soldering on the board.
They use Flow soldering method on these boards.
Heat gun on the board will reflow the solder. Google it.
My Box Mecool Ki Pro Justa arrived, But there is a problem. when i turn it on the blue led cames on and no pictures at all apears on tv. what can i do ? please help me. Thanks

Are there instructions on how to convert the correct build with the correct device tree into a .zip that can be loaded onto the box nand? Since I already have an sd card that I can recover the box with I'm not too worried about running libreelec from sd,
S905: First look for device tree with your box name in it. In case there is no such image, download generic one.
example: for a box with 2GB of RAM and 100Mbit Ethernet, you should download gxbb_p200_2G_100M.dtb
Do not run before you can walk.
Burn image to SD Card with correct device tree.

Run it and make sure everything works.

That is not much to ask for.
But once again these Box Manufacturers in China have NO IDEA on customer service.
Put up a Website and with no Firmware for this box.
Contacted them 3 times in the last 3 weeks.

You're right. I've tested all my s805' S905 and S905x boxes using my TV Designated Hard Drive USB port and they all work.
My TX7 S905x runs with the Powered Hard Drive connected to it via USB. It runs off that without any power adapter.

I just tried playing your 1080p file on this pile of crap TX3Mini s905W chip box and it plays horribly.
More issues with this chip are going to arise as more users will find out as they experiment with different files.
