Is there any way to make kodi believe it is playing music while snapclient is in use? It would be neat if kodi would show a visualizer while playing music via snapclient

I just scored 2 MINIX NEO U9-H for 99€ each (damaged Packaging).
Now i just need 2 good (preferably small-ish) remotes that don't cost a fortune.
FYI, I do have Harmony Remotes in each Room, but I don't know if i can use them to turn the device on/off and how to use the IR, with the Mediaplayer being behind the TV.
I can turn the MINIX on and off with my Harmony but my mediaplayer isn't behind the TV.

matt77303 can you share the exact description? When I use the 'Microsoft Media PC SE' the command seem to have a delay but every button is working. With 'Minix Multimedia Player' play/pause and other command don't work properly.

I think I experienced the same issue like chrisssj2. I'm using the minix uh9 with the latest 8.90 devel. I only had this issue when I connected my Intenso Memory Station (1TB) to the minix. Besides the external there was a DVB stick connected. Currently I'm not using the external drive anymore but I can test later with the mentioned file and provide a log file if needed.

My Hauppauge stick seems to be a different version (checked product id). There is a fix that works for me:
Codemodprobe em28xx card=94 echo "2040 8268" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/em28xx/new_idSince the lines above are only temporary I put them into autostart.sh. Now after rebooting the stick is working fine.

Well, colour me blind and call me stupid but I don't see an FAQ about that in the first post and autoupdate has never worked for me. Probably because I have steadily updated from johngalts first builds and everything else runs just fine on my T6 S905X.
It seems that I'm blind, too. I can't find said FAQ

updated the image v1.1 with an Hauppauge addon that includes (hopefully working) all the patches from b-rad-NDi/Ubuntu-media-tree-kernel-builder
if something don't work pls dmesg | paste
mglae I also fixed (at least I think so) the DD drivers, pls have a look if they work now !
Do I need to flash this or can I update?
EDIT: Nevermind. I used a backup. All works fine now. Thank you!

you can update to LE8.2 that includes by default the TBS drivers
just copy LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.0.img.gz to your update folder and reboot
what TBS card do you have ? Btw did you upgrading from an older OpenELEC build ?
why not using my 8.2 version ?
Index of /LibreELEC/8.2_Krypton/8.2.0/just update to that version, enable driver -> reboot
I`ll do a Hauppauge addon soonish that includes a huge number of new Hauppauge drivers, currently a bit out of time but I try to get it working this week.

CvH: I want to try your 8.1.0 version. Currently I'm on 8.2 so is it save to do a backup, install 8.1 and then restore from the backup? I want to avoid to set up everything from scratch.
I want to because I have problems with my hauppage tuner:

Hi,
I just did a fresh install of LibreELEC on my Intel NUC and I can't get Tvheadend to work with my hauppauge wintv solohd. To my understanding it should work. Can anyone help? Thanks
Edit: There aren't any tuners listed in the tvheadend interface.
