Please give this a rest, he has apologised.
After all, it is Christmas.
Goodwill to all men (women as well)
prescott, you've apologised, just forget about it.
I know and I'm sorry. But the work required should be quick and if you read what I wrote and check all links I posted, you will see that theres a huge chance I/we will get this working by 2021 with this pace...
Again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I just want to speed this up into the right direction and not get into "forgotten posts" like many other about this subject.
Ok
Also, check here how many people are waiting for this and for how long:
If I were you, I would change your attitude. or you might find you'll get no more help.
After all, all of the work on this forum is free.
Where can i find this information?
For now, i copied the default skin to addons folder onside the sd card an modify the *.xml
look at this [9.0] LibreELEC 9.x for S905/S905X
I posted this for my titan skin, not sure if it will work for this version
This will vary from skin to skin. I use Titan for krypton beta
Skin Settings, Configure shortcuts, Customize power menu, Add, Change Action, Custom item, then type in System.ExecWait("/usr/sbin/rebootfromnand")
Then set label, call it whatever, reboot to nand, reboot to internal, Reboot to Android.
Set Thumbnail, & select an icon or whatever you want.
Hopefully that is correct, I did find it was slow to reboot. So give it time
You haven't supplied any details of the type of box you have.
from downloads – LibreELEC at the direct downloads, from the drop down select your device
then from the same page
Manual Update / Migration from OpenELEC (.tar)
LibreELEC update files are compatible with OpenELEC. To migrate transfer the manual update file over to /storage/.update/ or the “Updates” samba share before rebooting to start the update process. The same file is used for v2 and v3 devices:
yes, ssh in, then installtointernal
but why not just use a different sd or usb
Hi,
I'm using S905X + LibreELEC 8.2.1.2 from kszaq and it works very well but I would like to go to 9.0 because I would like to use Netflix addon.
Is this version OK for an everyday use ?
Thank you !
just to be on the safe side, install to sd & try it yourself
I can't remember how to use this,

I have a similar remote, I think the coloured buttons are for operating the tv, & cannot be mapped to libreelec.
I think, you press one of the red buttons until the LED on the remote blinks, then using your tv remote, press one of the buttons to pair it.
After I create an image, (I use rufus) on windows 10, the root folder opens, so I can see the dtb file
Well try as I might, I can't seem to get the box to boot LE. I've installed terminal emulator & typed "reboot update", as well as the toothpick method. The toothpick method appears to read the SD card slot but on reboot boots android.
Any help is appreciated.
you might have tried some of these, boot from usb, try all ports, burn image using rufus, try another sd card.
Confirm the exact box you have, ie processor, ram different device tree
I install adamg latest build on sd card, when I select reboot to internal (android) but failed. I can’t go back to android?
Remove the sd card.
When you first boot with the installation usb, it will ask you which disk to install it too, it says it will wipe the complete disk, BUT, if the target disk has separate partitions, you MIGHT be able to choose the installation partition.
Note, the drive & partition numbering is "linux" sda1 sda2 sdb1 usb's are something else.
IF you can't see the partitons, then abort the installation.
Clonezilla might be another option, you can create a clonezilla usb, run it from a pc, or htpc , to clone your libreelec (the one with all the settings) to your target. Note, target partition must be the same size or larger than the source. Use gparted for that.
