I do not have a wetek, so I have never done this.

The wetek builds are downloads – LibreELEC from the drop down menu.
there is some info there about installing to NAND
I think once you install to nand, it's not easy to return to Android
Talking about Piracy addons is not allowed on this forum.
Or try the Leia builds, you then have to modify the remote controls
That version works just fine.
Then I upgraded to LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.2-Chroma-422.img.gz (by wrxtasy) for better 4k 10-bit payback, which giving me issues with remote control. I did try putting a remote.conf as well, but no joy. Are you saying that remote cannot be fixed with that version?
-S
Sorry, I think you need to ask wrxtasy, as far as I know, this should not have changed the remote
So tell me which point you are up to,
you have formatted a usb drive to FAT32 (might work on NTFS)
you have gone to the downloads page [INDEX] LibreELEC community builds for Amlogic
& downloaded the stable release 8.2 & the correct device tree, [8.2.3.1] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X
device tree base on RAM ie 1GB or 2GB & the LAN speed 100MB or 1GB
you have then used rufus or the libreelec tool to create the image on the usb stick,
you have then copied the device tree to the root of the usb, renaming it to dtb.img replacing the original
you then held in the reset button, while plugging in the power, after a few seconds, you then released the reset button
Anyone?
Mainly, trying to figure out which version to use for a better 10-bit 4k playback and any idea how to fix the remote control?
-S
I think you have installed a modified version to fix a silence issue.
I suggest you get the last build for this from kszaq from [8.2.2.3] LibreELEC 8.2 for S912
Then, if that still doesn't do what you want you could try reading this [8.90.5] LibreELEC 9.0 Alpha for S905/S912 devices
but that uses a different way for remotes to work
I copied server addresses & certs to a folder I created, on storage, then used the wizard to point to that directory
then used the wizard, it will take time to work, so, just try a few servers to begin with.
I have done this on a Beelink S905, a H96 Pro S912, & a NUC
I used the user defined, to get Nordvpn working, I copied some of the servers & cert files to a folder, then in the vpn config, added my nordvpn user name & password, then used the wizard, to point to the Nordvpn folder with my servers & cert files.
The vpn starts to connect when the network starts,
This worked on my three devices.
Yep, I read it wrong
Display Morewrxtasy ive tried your 4:4.4 build and 4:2:2 with the added kodi menu for 10bit and with both of them I’ve tried all the dtbs included in the builds and I’ve tried kszaqs and the Leia build dtb but I always get a black screen after the libre elec splash screen.. I’m suspecting my hdmi cable isn’t up to scratch although it was sold as hdmi 2.0b it’s not premium certified, before I order a new hdmi cable is there anything else I could be doing wrong or do you know of any inferior batches of mecool m8s pro that simply can’t output 4:4:4
I know my tv can handle it and my le box is connected directly to the tv and not through a amp
I have no problems installing and using the normal 8.2.2.3 build
I’d love to be able to use my tv to it’s full potential when playing 4k with 10bit hdr
Tv is panasonic 65dx902b
Thanks again for your help!
I assume you still have android working, does that work with the Hdmi cable?
I'm afraid I don't know if you can use your key table
No need to apologise for English not being your native language.
Hello
I cannot access the 512mb partition after burning the image to usb drive
ive used rufus and libreelec writer.
Im using windows 10
What can i do to solve this?
I assume you just want to put the correct dtb file in the 512 partition, I use windows 10, & once rufus has finished, the partition opens, so I can copy the dtb over
Display MoreI use LE-8.2.2.3 with my Alphawise H96pro+ (S912) and for me works all things fine.
I have tested the new LE-8.90.5 but without success to play videos or LiveTV with 3840/50p. And so I use these "older" LE-8.2.2.3 version.
With the LE-8.90.5 I have to use "ir-keytable" for my remote control and this is really great, because I can use my Universal Remot control after create a "keytable". And this works perfect!
And for this reason I would like the same with LE-8.2.2.3, so I can use my Universal remote control in place of the original remote control, but it doesn't work. What have I made:
- In the Libreelec-addon I have deactivatet "lirc"
- I put my, under LE-8.90.5 created, "rc_maps.cfg" to .storage/config and also my createtd "keytable" to .storage/config/rc_maps
After a reboot I found out that my Universal remote control doesn't work.
- If I logged in the console and put in "ir-keytable" I get only an error message: "/sys/class/rc/: No such file or directory"
And so I have a question: Is there a possibility to use ir-keytable with LE-8.2.2.3 or can I only use "lircd" with this LE version?
If YES, can you say what I have to do.
Paul
PS: Sorry for my english, but this is not my native language.
the earlier versions, used a different way for the remote.
Create remote.conf from scratch
you basically create a remote.conf & put it in the config folder
I have a logitech 350 & 650, if you look through the posts, there are some instructions there, to use the Pivos profile from the logitech database
Problem with the hard drive?
you could try installing to another usb, just to see if that worked.
that seems like the correct image, so you have created the bootable usb with the tool?
I assume you have checked that it can be seen in the bios & the boot order is set to boot from that first?
