ARCH=arm64 is wrong, you need to use ARCH=arm
/me shudders at kernel 3.14 and "TV-BOX"
no idea, what changes did you make and what was the build command used?
If you are using LE10 then don't worry about them. If you are on LE9.2 you shouldn't worry about them because you'll need to update to LE10 eventually
I'll have to update the VAAPI patch to work with these changes. It's a simple fix but not sure if I'll have time today.
There is also another issue - this commit completely broke the playback on DRM PRIME, at least on Intel. I tested with pure Kodi master, no WIP HDR stuff involved.
Kodi master doesn't work with DRMPRIME on intel
I just tested on my workstation using GLES/GBM with dma-heaps and all seems fine, this is with an AMD GPU though.
Do you have enough CMA? We specify to allocate 256MB.
Otherwise you can try disabling the DMAHEAPS registration by removing this line
xbmc/WinSystemGbmGLESContext.cpp at master · xbmc/xbmc · GitHub
you can download individual files here LibreELEC Downloads – LibreELEC
and here Index of /
LE10 is the first releases of the Allwinner project so there are no older releases
It's not possible at this time
On Gemini Lake 2160p60Hz is only possible with RGB 8-bit (default), YCbCr 4:4:4 8-bit (with a driver hack).
I'm not sure if YCbCr 4:2:0 12-bit could be enabled with a hack or otherwise. 4:2:2 is not supported by the driver.
It is possible to enable GPU dithering for 8-bit modes (with a driver hack). It certainly eliminates the banding on my test videos and looks ok to me.
I'm not really sure about this. Last time I tested my gemini lake hardware enabled 12bit output.
post a kodi debug log
I think it would be a mistake not to add Chrome to LE10, the Netflix and Amazon add-ons are far to unstable, sometimes they work most the times they dont. Besides it always nice to be able to web browse on the TV from time time I use Chrome on LE9 a lot that will be the only deal-breaker for me upgrading.
The chrome browser will likely be dropped if LibreELEC moves to using GBM for the Generic builds in the future, so I wouldn't count on it.
According to your kodi log you don't seem to have a whitelist set up and didn't enable adjust refresh rate. ...
Just an FYI, you don't need a whitelist to use refresh rate switching, you just need the "Adjust display refresh rate" option enabled.
Display MoreOK... so then are the features I'm interested in...
1) Speed control ?
2) More speed options ?
3) Aligned audio/video sync ?
4) Analog output ? (no, my TV does not have another secondary audio output to tap into)
...actually going to get added to the new "video rendering and hardware decoding pipeline"?
Or I should give up hope here, and quit repeatedly asking this question in the hopes of a clear answer so i know how to proceed with setting up an actually effective media center?
Please advise.
Thx.
PR's welcome
None of that is being actively worked on that I'm aware of. Either you have very specific needs or no one cares about those "features". You are free to use any software that you want.
