I have a python3 in image cause I'm using different scripts for IoT and smarthome. I guess I could take a shot at an addon. It pretty simple.
Good luck

Hyperion.ng uses Python3 but I guess that would not make sense to small minded people
It's like you didn't even read what milhouse wrote. We are an embedded distrobution. If you want a full featured distro then LibreELEC is not for you.
Please try and get the xorg log at /var/log/Xorg.0.log (I think that's it) and also the journal for that boot using `journalctl -b0`
Also, you can send logs directly to pastebin using `pastebinit` from the command line.
for example
then just post the link that is returned here
That CPU/GPU should be supported by LibreELEC 9.0 (so any of the alpha releases) or a milhouse build.
make sure that when you create the installer that you are actually using a 9.0 build.
Yes too bad indeed
It looks to me like some host error, you say it's Ubuntu 64bit but our toolchain is detecting your system as i686 (32bit)
Please post the output of "uname -a" and also "gcc -dumpmachine"
BOOT_IMAGE isn't to be used on non android bootloader platforms. Please remove that along with SYSTEM_IMAGE.
PROJECT=NXP ARCH=arm DEVICE=iMX6 ./scripts/build v4l-utils
Please note that this is a WIP and you won't have an HW accellerated video playback
Or use profiles and lock the profile with a password Profiles - Official Kodi Wiki
Well i Just dont want to Turn my TV on while listing to Music.....
Then use it like you are and just switch audio output devices
Because as a security architect, letting a non-encrypted, insecure device have SSH access to my NAS without a password makes my h.air stand on end. Anyone who got a hold of my SD card would have a certificate into my NAS. Not okay.
I understand that LibreELEC doesn't support local OS encryption - this is the best alternative I can think of.
You're using a distro that actively runs as root, has a locked root password and actively broadcasts an insecure webserver on port 80 and you are worried about your sd card getting stolen?
You would basically have to rebuild all the packages in the dependency chain. Better to do it manually or use a clean build
I want the user to have to enter the password each time Kodi boots up. Built-in SFTP sets a static password that is saved. I don't want that.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
why?
Just use you're TV's ARC and connect the toslink from your TV to your amp. Then run all the audio through your HDMI output of the RPi.
The answer is "do a clean build"
