Yes, for most of them - check it out.
Intel announced that model 13th will be the last one, so prices may drop. I'm happy user of NUC 10th, IR wake up and shut down works nicely.
So for me it is down to the NUC or NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV Pro

I just leave my NUC running. No issues so far.
That's not an option for me...
As far as I can see, that Kamrui thing doesn't have built-in IR receiver, which usually means that you cannot wake it up using remote.
Powering off will always work when remote works, just use Power/Power off menu option.
Thanks, does all NUC have built in IR Receivers?
This should be configurable in the BIOS of your machine, shouldn‘it? Power on by Mouse/Keyboard…
Never tried it however. Maybe you can report back if it worked out for you.
In Kodi//LE go and look into the Keymap editor Addon for power off function
I checked the bios and i didn't see any setting for power on by mouse/keyboard but i will check again. thanks for the assist.
Will any of the recommended hardware allow powering on and off via an MCE remote? I bought the following: Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, KAMRUI AK1 PRO 12GB RAM 256GB SSD Mini Desktop Computer Intel Celeron N5105 Processor,Quad Core Micro Computer 4K, Support 2.5-inch SSD, 2.4G/ 5.0G WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, HTPC with a flirc usb dongle. I can't get it to power down or suspend with the MCE remote.
LibreELEC Generic Legacy v11.0.3 x86, still no audio
SSH into the box and run "alsamixer" .. it's a console app not a GUI app.
ok, thanks
I have found the alsamixer addon via LE repo: Program Add-ons > Multimedia Tools.
Now what? I can't get it to run. It says it is for the console?
There is an addon for alsamixer you can install unfortunately this doesn't solve the issue in my case. Thanks for the helpful troubleshooting tips, that's a weird issue I've seen creep up before.
Which repository?
Please check and take screenshots of the LE11 Kodi Player settings 'Settings | Player | Video |'.
The cause may be in the Processing settings.
will do..
I gave it a shot and gave up. I will just wait for a fix. Hopefully, it won't take too long.
I guess not, because it's a different kernel. You can try to compile your own LE: Wiki: Building (Basics)
Thanks looks very daunting but I will give it a shot when I have some downtime.
Nope.
There's no way to manually add the drivers from a previous build?
As of the latest nightly nothing has changed.

Dang...Does anyone have any idea when this will get fixed?
Is this fixed? I am having the same problem.
