Magic, thanks. What's a nightly build? Is this a sort of extreme alpha build?

When my last SD card died, I installed the latest LibreELEC build "Latest Stable Version (2022.03)" with "Kodi 19.4". However, I wasn't able to get access to my NAS using SMB 2 - it just refused to connect.
So, I downgraded to the older stable version "Old Version (2020.11)" and "Kodi 18.9". Thie restored access to the NAS but Netflix won't work and errors with the above/original error.
You said:
There's no alternative ,you will have to wait until the developer will fix it.
But the develop has stopped supporting (and back porting) Kodi 18, saying we must upgrade to 19. This means that while Netflix will work, my network shares will not.
Thoughts?

Thanks, there is a threat on it, here: https://github.com/CastagnaIT/plu…lix/issues/1425

Thanks. Do you know of an alternative plug-in?

Hi all,
Has anyone seen this error message before? I get it when I try to access a profile on Netflix.
Thanks,
Adam.

So, I gave up on that TV and bought a replacement which works nicely.
The only complaint I have is that the resolution isn't ideal and the Kodi menu is slightly wider than the screen. Different Kodi resolutions aren't the answer. In-movie, I can tweak the zoom and other settings, but if anyone has any ideas on this, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
A.

I managed to get the Pi4 to boot.
Results in order:
Rainbow screen
TV displays 720p@60Hz
Then LibreElec splash screen
Then [No signal]
in config.txt:
set to hdmi_group=1
tried various hdmi modes (hdmi_mode=39) but to no avail. (39 is 1080i@50Hz 16:9) (sourced from here: https://peppe8o.com/fix-hdmi-monit…-raspberry-pi/:
TV: Technika 32G22B-FHD 32-inch Full HD
The TV specifications are:
Full HD, HDMI, 1920x1080
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
A.

Following up, turns out it was the wrong HDMI port. Amazingly simple. All working. Now I have to figure out why it works on two of my TVs but not the other one. Perhaps it can't handle the bandwidth?
Thanks,
A.

I have no sound from my Pi 4 - I've tried the HDMI port next to the power but nothing. There's no sound from the 3.5" jack either.
Any pointers?
I have sound in the jack, however, I have not in the Hdmi, none of them, for libreelec
however, I have sound in the hdmi closest to the jack in raspian.
any ideas?

I also thought I'd look for a sound card. This might be incorrect, but ...

I can now confirm that copying the new library file libwidevinecdm.so to the cdm directory (/storage/.kodi/cdm/) works. Netflix is up and running, now.
Thanks for your assistance.
Please close.

Thanks! I've followed the links to here which gives me an option to download the library itself libwidevinecdm.so
I'll do this later and let you know.
QuoteARMv7 4.10.1679.0 here if anybody needs
(just rename it to libwidevinecdm.so)
or
widevine_4.10.1679.0.orig.tar.xz
(extract and find the file in widevine\opt\WidevineCdm_platform_specific\linux_arm"
Instructions for restoring the older version are here.
QuoteI can confirm that restoring previous libwidevinecdm.so from backup solves the problem:
find / -name "libwidevinecdm.so"
/storage/.kodi/cdm/libwidevinecdm.so
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.module.inputstreamhelper/backup/13816.64.0/libwidevinecdm.so
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.module.inputstreamhelper/backup/13729.56.0/libwidevinecdm.so
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.module.inputstreamhelper/backup/13505.111.0/libwidevinecdm.so
cp -a /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.module.inputstreamhelper/backup/13729.56.0/libwidevinecdm.so /storage/.kodi/cdm/
Instead of the not working libwidevinecdm.so version 13816.64.0, the previous version 13729.56.0 works right.

I did a fresh install of LE 9.2.6 but it comes with InputStream Helper 0.52 which doesn't work. There is not an option to downgrade, even when I check Configure from dd-ons -> program add-ons.
I manually downloaded the temporary 0.53 fix but I'm at a loss on where to place it. It's zipped but either zipped of not I'm struggling to get Kodi to see it.
I would sincerely appreciate your help.
Thanks,

I'm pleased to report the issue was one of power.
Please close.

Thanks, all. I've ordered the official Raspberry Pi adapator.
-
It looks like the low power issue is the key. I found this: RE: Fresh instal of 9.0.2 raspberry 3 - after boot screen nothing happens
The power I'm using is 5.1v but crucially only 850mA. Looks like I need a 3.0A adaptor.

Do you think it could be a too-low-power issue?

Hi,
I used a 32Gb SD card SanDIsk Ultra - still the same. Built the card per my previous post, it boots, formats its partitions, reboots again, then goes into the reboot cycle.
Are there logs I can examine or perhaps switch on / increase the logging level?
Is there anyting else you can suggest or anything else i can do to tease out additional information?
Thanks,
Adam.

Hi,
I cannot find a similar post with my issue.
Using "LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Win32.exe" I've written both images "LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.95.2.img.gz" and "LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.6.img.gz" to a Kingston 2Gb Micro SD card (at seperate times).
When booting, the LibreELEC splashscreen appears and the OS partitions the SD card and then, as expected, reboots itself.
The next time the Pi starts, the splashscreen is again displayed, but rather than loading fully the LibreELEC OS, the Pi reboots. The Pi then goes into a reboot cycle.
I tried using a different image writer but the same outcome presents.
All thoughts are welcome!
Thanks,
Adam.
