On Rpi4 I updated to 06 and it doesn't have trueHd and Atmos support. From the settings (under system-audio-audio transmission) there is only Dolby digital support.

The problem is that there is a central disconnector (smart house) that disconnects the house during the day. We only turn it on when we get home from work. In this case, however, Rpi is always switched on. The non-vital parts are also disconnected at night (this is automatic) and if I don't stop the Rpi beforehand, it has a bad effect on the sd card and the connected HDDs as well. I usually only use it on weekends, so I don't want to have to stop Rpi multiple times every day.

Hi. for everyone!
My question is about rpi 5:
When it receives power, it will automatically turn on and load libreelec. Is it possible to prevent this so that when it receives power, it can only be turned on with the power button? Thanks for the answers!

Both outputs of the HDMI splitter have 4k HDR picture and HBR audio, + SPDIF has 5.1 audio, or you can choose analog audio instead.

Check it out here:
PostRE: HDMI + SPDIF dual audio
I am withdrawing my previous post.
After a long try, it was set up. On the first floor we have 4k HDR and 7.1, on the second floor about SPDIF 5.1. The resolution had to be set to 4096 * 2160 in the kodi. With this, HDR also works. I know this is the default setting at startup, but 4k is basically 3840 * 2160.
Thank you for your support. Problem solved.
Hi. DDraculaniumOctober 21, 2021 at 10:24 PM It already works for me. Make sure both displays have the same resolution, otherwise RPI will set itself to the smaller one.

The extractor has arrived.
An audio extractor is not recommended if 4k HDR is required. It does not transmit the HDR signal.

I ordered one like this:
I hope you solve the problem.
Hi. D

I solved it like this:
Router setting: another username and password for 2.4 Ghz and another for 5 Ghz. When you connect to PI4, you enter your 5 Ghz username and password, and you forget about 2.4 Ghz. Provided your routered allows it. Probably yes.

Thank you for your answers. An HDMI extractor could be a good solution, but you need 7.1 sound on the first floor. What they can buy, they only know 5.1. Although HDMI should know 7.1, this is not declared. If you know of a link where the extractor's HDMI knows 7.1 and SPDIF knows 5.1, please write. Thanks for that so far.

I would listen to music on two floors. The first would go from HDMI, the second from SPDIF. Unfortunately, the second HDMI port of the RPI4 does not output sound, so it cannot be used.

Greetings to everyone!
I have a Raspberry pi4 + LE10.
I have added hifiberry HAT due to SPDIF.
How can I make the sound work on HDMI and SPDIF at the same time?
Thanks in advance. D

Try one cable for audio to the AVR and one Cable for video to TV. That works for me.
I wired as you suggested, but no sound. The proposal did not help. It still breaks at high definition sounds.

Denon AVR - S950H, short HDMI 2 cable. DTS-HD music. Only when listening to music (Mka format) at 1-2 second intervals at irregular intervals. Also available for 4K HDR DTS-HD movies, with 2-4 second lags. (Audio passtrough = allow pass)
Thanks. D
