I have noticed that my Slice is saying there is a new update 9.2.6 is this a valid update for the Slice?

Looks like we got a fix for the kodi lockup / kernel oops issue [le92] ffmpeg: update RPi HEVC patch to latest version by HiassofT · Pull Request #4411 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub , quick test on RPi3B+ with latest firmware went fine.
The fix will be included in the next LE release, for now please use the firmware revert workaround.

bleep42 I did some more testing and the issue seems to be firmware (not kernel) related.
Could you test LE 9.2.3 again and replace the firmware files in /flash with the contents from this ZIP? rpi-firmware-9e3c23c.zip
This reverts the RPi firmware to the April 15 version, with that your sample files played fine on RPi3.

bleep42 did you overclock your Slice? If yes it might be worth testing with all overclock settings removed from config.txt.
There were changes to the RPi firmware regarding clock/voltage handling so overvoltage/overclock settings in config.txt may need to be adjusted.

After some testing, I've found a problem playing H265, two samples in dropbox, I use handbrake to encode them.
Link to two test files, one 720, one 1200.
Some H265 pay ok, others do not, they appear to lock the whole box up, sometimes requiring a power off.
I've gone back to 9.2.1 and all my files play fine, I've re-installed a second download of 9.2.3, just incase and that also locks up with the attached files. For the moment I've gone back to 9.2.1

Tested on my Slice CM3. Video H264 & 265 both playing well, WMA Music over HDMI, Analogue & BlueTooth also fine.

If you installed the 9.2.0 test build linked above please do a manual upgrade to the now released official 9.2.0 version (from the download page).
We had to do a last-minute change (forgot to bump the VERSION_ID from 9.1 to 9.2) and while everything should be fine ATM it could result in issues with addon updates in the next days/weeks.

Video and audio working, except that there is no Pulse Audio, so I can't use BlueTooth audio, in the previous build which had the fixes done by HiassofT it was present and worked, but not in this latest build, unless I'm missing out on something.

Yes I to sometimes get the Green led on left as well, I did raise it with Gordon, when he was around, never got anywhere with it.
I power off my Slice every night, so it comes and goes, I ignore it nowadays.
