YES ! Exactly what you have to to! and youll see, with deactivate hyperion addon works great.

Videos from HDD / NAS works fine!

Only with netflix (VOD) combined with hyperion and 1080p software decode you got black screens!

No, there is no problem with the resolution i guess.

Pls read my posts and look at the video. All netflix series are working fine with 1080p TV and 1080p softwaredecoding when hyperion is deactivated.

If you activate hyperion the lights are working but black screens for few seconds.

Ok, Puschl try this but i think that is not the problem.

I post logs, videos and make a fresh LE Installation.

I guess, it is a bug which never will be fixed.

so, my setup is following:

- Full HD TV 1080p

- Kodi with Pi 4 and fresh LE Installation (9.2 final) with LE Hyperion Addon (9.2.0.111)

- Whitelist in Kodi 1080p with 23.98, 50 and 60 Hz

A make a video where you can see the problem. Most of Netflix series working with 720p (setting in input stream). if you going to 1080p with activate addon you got the issue. The same movie with deactive hyperion works fine.

I try your fix suggestion.

Added in config hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 but not fixed

--> I have Hyperion 9.2.0.111 Version. Is there a new file?

I have the logs watching netflix with hyperion and without hyperion.

Yes, my one works fine with PI 4 - with initial Alpha 1 (or2) Alpha Version.

i have an Pi 4 with Libreelec 9.1501 (beta1) with hyperion addon (9.1.901.111).

Hyperion works fine with "normal" movies/series.

But if you use Netflix Plugin via inputstrea.adaptive (Software Decode 1080p) you´ll get regularly black screens for few seconds. 720p software decode works with more movies /series via netflix Plugin - but not all.

If you deactivate the hyperion addon all movies/series via netflix works fine with 1080p.

I have 2 log Files - the same movie with activated hyperion addon and one with deactivated addon.

does 1080p netflix with Pi4 works correct with hyperion ?

That is my default setting.

But there dorops are only by netflix addon. Every 720p or 1080p works fine.

I guess its a problem with inputstream.adaptive?

So you can see no black screens with 720p (beginning) i switch to 1080p (Minute 01:55) and geht black screens regularly.

No idea why ....

i have an Pi 4 with 4 GB and LE 9.1.501 (Beta1).

I installed the latest Netflix Addon with inputstream adaptive (both latest versions 0.15.2 and 2.3.22)

If i go to settings with 720p software decode every video file works fine.

If i change to 1080p (PI 4 has enough power) i get regularly frame drops and black screens for few seconds.

My Whitelist has 1080p 60, 50 and 23.98 Hz entrys.

Anyone else with same problems?
