Have a play with the acceleration settings in vmware. Kodi needs 3d graphics acceleration.

I don't think you need mc2xml, doesn't SD have a xml feed that you could download with curl or wget?

Thinking further, xmltv would do it but has a curl dependency. This python software may be the best bet.

I am unclear, should ISO also work, or do we have to wait for kodi 17/le8?

What are you asking? What repo structure? What repos are you confused about?

In the us you should probably be using schedules direct.

SYSTEM is a squashfs file for the root filesystem, KERNEL is the kernel.

Dunno, read the thread.

The LibreELEC wiki should be ready to use soon.

I certainly take your point, but I don't want to have to turn the TV on to listen to music, so my music system is separate to my video system. Spotify-connect does raise some interesting possibilities though. I will certainly be playing with it, especially now I know my HT amplifier is spotify-connect capable.

I have now looked up what spotify-connect actually does and have to answer - I am not sure!
I don't use kodi for music, so would be happy for a volumio based pi, not sure why you would want it on the kodi machine as well.
