Hi, I am having the exact same problem as you, but for me it is the official Kodi repo that I can't load. The LibreELEC repo works perfectly but I can't connect to the official repo at all.

Hi,
I want to give a docker container (Rhasspy) access to my PSeye plugged in USB. The problem is that I need to specify a /dev location. The camera is correctly appearing when I use lsusb. But in /dev, I see no folder corresponding to that. Worse, when the camera is unplugged, there is no difference at all compared to when it is.
How should that work ? How can I find and know where my camera is located ? Ofc without installing third party tools as apt is not on libreelec. What should I try to list all devices with a clear name and know what to do ?
Thanks in advance for any answer, have a great day.

LeVraiRoiDHyrule which LibreELEC version you are using (i'm using LE11 here)?
Also which HA container image ?
Alternatively ,you could use esphome bluetooth proxy ,installed on esp32 dev module (already tested here and working ).
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I'm using LE11 too. My container image is from LinuxServer.io. I discovered that if I run the container as my root user, I can correctly add the Bluetooth adapter in HA. But not device is being discovered, even if they are found using bluetoothctl scan on, HA doesn't seem to see any. Hcitool dev still finds no device. I don't know what to do. Here is my Docker compose config :
Code
Display Morehomeassistant: image: lscr.io/linuxserver/homeassistant:latest container_name: homeassistant #network_mode: host networks: - services #security_opt: # - no-new-privileges:true environment: - PUID=0 - PGID=0 - TZ=${TZ} volumes: - ${CONFIG_FOLDER}/homeassistant:/config - /run/dbus:/run/dbus:ro #ports: # - 8123:8123 #optional devices: - /dev/ttyAMA0:/dev/ttyAMA0 restart: unless-stopped labels: caddy: homeassistant.mydomain.com caddy.reverse_proxy: homeassistant:8123
I am running in bridge mode and not host mode, I was told this doesn't interfere with Bluetooth.

Hi,
It's all in the title. I couldn't find any way of getting the UI to go 4k. The uppest I can go is 1080p 30fps, that's really low. I tried setting hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 in config.txt, but after this, the UI only occupies a quarter of the screen. That is really strange. And I have no new setting appearing. So I rolled back. I couldn't find any answer to this in this forum. Could someone help me please ? Thanks in advance and have a great day.

I'm using docker-compose here ,but here's a snippet from the "docker-compose.yaml" file :
Code
Display Morehomeassistant: image: homeassistant/raspberrypi4-homeassistant:stable container_name: homeassistant hostname: hassio network_mode: "host" restart: always depends_on: - adguardhome - mosquitto - zigbee2mqtt environment: - TZ=Europe/Rome volumes: - /run/dbus:/run/dbus:ro - /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro - /storage/.config/dockers/hass-config:/config
With this configuration ,the RPi4's internal bluetooth is automatically detected in HA (check the attached screenshot ).
Thanks a lot for your answer. That's strange, when I use "bluetoothctl list" I correctly have LibreELEC bluetooth listed from within HA container, but when I use "hcitool dev", I don't have any device appearing. I don't know what I'm missing.

Hi,i'm using LibreELEC 11 + Docker + HA on Rpi4 8GB and when i run "hcitool dev" in HA container's terminal,it shows the RPi4's internal bluetooth ,so no idea why it fails for you.
I will try to pair a device with it and check if Homeassistant can find it,so i will let you know .
P.S. Docker + Home Assistant (and other 12 containers like SWAG,AdGuard Home ,Zigbee2mqtt ,MQTT ,eyc) runs very well on Rpi4 .
Very interesting ! That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Could you tell me what device you mounted inside your container ? What paths ? How is your HA container and service configuration ?

Ask on the Home Assistant forum.
Hi, thanks for your answer.
I did already, they told me to ask here. Which I find logical as the problem is more with how Libreelec handles bluetooth rather than with home assistant itself. If you can help me to find what device Libreelec uses for bluetooth, then it should be easy to mount it on docker.
EDIT : I tried to search for both the integrated bluetooth, as well as for the bluetooth dongle that I've connected. None of them seem to be visible in /dev. I don't see any new device appearing in /dev when plugging the dongle, even with it being found that I use lsusb.
Thanks in advance for any answer, have a good day.

Hi,
I've added docker and some containers on my LibreElec setup (Rpi4). Now I would like to give Home Assistant access to built in Rpi4 Bluetooth. But I can't figure out how to do that. I think some things differs on Libreelec compared to a normal debian system to achieve that.
I've read https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/bluetooth/ , and according to the instructions, there should be Dbus and BlueZ installed. I can find a /run/dbus device, that I've made accessible to the docker container using a bind mount. But home assistant still is unable to scan for bluetooth devices. I'm not sure if it's because BlueZ is missing, or any other problem. Could someone read the documentation above and try to help me to achieve this ? I don't know what to try next.
Home Assistant give me the following error when trying to scan :
Code2023-03-22 21:28:27.222 ERROR (MainThread) [frontend.js.latest.202303091] :0:0 ResizeObserver loop completed with undelivered notifications. 2023-03-22 21:28:41.254 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant] Error doing job: Future exception was never retrieved Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/dbus_fast/aio/message_bus.py", line 214, in on_hello raise err File "src/dbus_fast/aio/message_reader.py", line 24, in dbus_fast.aio.message_reader.build_message_reader._message_reader File "src/dbus_fast/_private/unmarshaller.py", line 659, in dbus_fast._private.unmarshaller.Unmarshaller._unmarshall File "src/dbus_fast/_private/unmarshaller.py", line 533, in dbus_fast._private.unmarshaller.Unmarshaller._read_header File "src/dbus_fast/_private/unmarshaller.py", line 283, in dbus_fast._private.unmarshaller.Unmarshaller._read_to_pos
Do you have an idea ? Any answer is welcome
Have a great day

Hi,
I have an SDR only display. A lot of my files are HDR files. Even if they play correctly, the colors are really washed out, which is to be expected. But I'm looking if there is a way to make them a bit better looking. I know Rpi4 doesn't support hardware tonemapping, like Hable tonemapping on PC. But maybe there is simpler way ? I think that it should be possible to get a better looking image just by tweaking normal image setting in Kodi like color and contrasts. But I would like those settings to apply only for HDR movies. I know a solution would be to get only SDR files, but that's not an option for me. Most of the time I don't have a choice between HDR or SDR.
I have multiple questions :
- Is there still no way to have full tonemapping (HDR2SDR) on an Rpi4 ?
- Is there a way to achieve better looking HDR with normal settings ? Is there a way to get a profile that is applied only for HDR files ?
- Is there other ways that could exist to get better HDR visuals on SDR displays ?
Thanks in advance for any answer,
Have a great day.

Please update to the current LE 11 beta; there are lots of fixes and enhancements for various RPi related screen issues. There will be no fixes for anything found under LE 10 now so best to start fom the current/active codebase.
I just updated to 11 beta 2 and all my problems just vanished ! The same files now play perfectly without a single issue ! Thanks !

My first guess would be a hdmi cable that can't handle the pixel frequency of the hdmi mode.
What hdmi is mode is running? (e.g. 4kp60 or 4kp30). A debug enabled log file would answer some of these questions.
As test, can you force kodi to 1080p60 (set that is system/display settings and disable adjust refresh rate in video settings).
Does the video now play with correct colours?
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. My libreelec is in 4k30. I don't understand why it doesn't let me set 4k60 as I have my xbox using the same AV receiver and TV and it can perfectly do 4k60. I checked the hdmi cable of the raspberry and it is hdmi 2.0 so it should allow 4k60 too.
If I set kodi to 1080p and disable adjust refresh rate, and try to play the same movie, I have no display. I don't understand what's happening, the screen is just black (no UI) until I stop the playback (from yatse).
Here is the debug log of this :

Hi,
I just installed libreElec. On some files, the video looks like this :
I have no idea why it looks like this. I though it could be related to the HEVC encoding, but some HEVC files play perfectly fine and some look like this. The whole UI is like this too, it's not only the movie behind it.
What could be the cause ? What should I do ?
Thanks in advance for any answer, have a great day
EDIT : I am not 100% sure, but it seems to be related to yuv420p10le colors. I noticed the problem on other files that are encoded this way. Is there a way to play them ? Maybe by changing player settings ? I have a lot of files encoded this way.
