Did you enabled the all the settings at Kodi ? Also pls have a look (enable expert settings at kodi) that your interface is really working at port 8080. It is a good chance that you have maybe still use port 80.
Btw overall yatse works perfectly with LE.

I see nightly builds for LE 11 only.
LE10 is the stable branch, so just minor updates get pushed and the major updates are at LE11
was merged right now, so the next nightlies should include these fixes

can you try to remux a video into a mkv (this does not any reencode)?
mkvtoolnix gui is rather easy to use, just remux mp4 -> mkv (~ 1min) and maybe that fixes it
I can remember that buggy mp4 muxers are related to such kind of problems.

You can attach your device via LAN to it, no configuration needed (besides one time setup for the box) and just works.

no, sadly not
HDR works already for generic but the is still work to be done to get it in a properly usable shape
