Hi, is there support for VNC on this release?
for generic (PC ...) yes, for everything else not yet because there is no VNC client yet that supports the new rendering at all platforms
https://kodi.wiki/view/Official:VPN_policy
Maybe never.
vnc is not vpn
Is it an auto update or do I need to update manually to 10.0.3
autoupdate is not turned on yet, its done starting next week

tx for testing, likewise this broke AMD for LE10
we need to look how we can fix that
linux: update to 5.10.y by heitbaum · Pull Request #6952 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tvFrom 5.10.142 https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.10.143 https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.10.144…github.com -
can you try if it still works with
https://test.libreelec.tv/10.0/Generic/G…-3b7427b.img.gz
and starts breaking with -
currently a LE10 nightly is compiling that includes a slightly newer kernel compared to 10.0.3, maybe the needed fixes are included
have a look at https://test.libreelec.tv/10.0/Generic/Generic/ , a soon there is a build from 2022-10-20 or newer the fix is included
we have no AMD hardware to test so we can't reproduce or test it
-
Oh so its a LibreElec issue?
it is a undiscovered build issue, it works if A builds it, it does not if B builds it
no build errors in both cases
for LE11 we have a new build system that maybe just works for that case

No offence but: RPi4 was released 2019, for how long will You treat it as "new"?
it is rather "new" in terms of developing, for LE11 we will drop this ofc
btw it is just released 2019 and we are already here, I guess you overestimate the linux kernel and ffmpeg
2022 and were are just there https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-6.0-Media
for ffmpeg we are not even close yet

Trying to install 10.0.3 on a new x86 minipc
can you try 10.0.2 ? we have another bugreport for AMD
-
I update libreelec from 10.0.2 to 10.0.3 on my Gigabyte Brix GB-BRR7H-4800
does it work again as soon you downgrade to 10.0.2 again ?
-
can you test a LE11 nightly (make a backup, you can't downgrade afterwards) ? maybe itis fixed there already
-
Tvh 4.2 or 4.3 ?

J1900 itself should work without a problem, you might need to disable all power saving stuff at the bios (C-States and related friends) because Intel fu up the driver for that platform years ago and never fixed them otherwise I can't remember any strange things.
You might share a debuglog, maybe we can spot anything.
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -

We still have X11 at LE11, it gets released as alternative to the default GBM version
-
can you try a nightly build ? likewise the drivers are too old at LE10
-
but after installing the NextCloud add-on
we do not provide a nextcloud addon, from where did you installed it ?

What is going on.
We got told after 19.4 release there is soon an 19.5, then some months later we gold told the same.
Meanwhile the release manager of Kodi is/was missing in action for some reason. Recently we were told that a new release manager will handle it soon. So we hope there is some movement soon.
Meanwhile you can still install the LE10 nightlies, they are already up to date.
