I did this at /storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/remote.xml to get the GUI context menu when pressing the blue remote control button:

</keymap>Unfortunately it does not affect full screen mode. Maybe you can adapt it for your needs.
Looks like Dell is blocking max. performance at firmware level. Maybe max. performance leads to heat problems, or whatever issues.
The only "solution" I see is a firmware hack.

I have no good experience when I use a small WiFi USB dongle instead of the integrated WiFi (RPi 3B+). It's no stable connection.
If you really want go the RPi 4 way, use a large WiFi dongle with an antenna. Be sure that it's Linux compatible.
If WLAN has to be stable out-of-the-box, then the brand new Nvidia Shield TV 2019 is a good 4K Kodi device, too.
Your log is from CoreELEC, not LibreELEC.
Maybe you have to add
dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplusto your config.txt.
The strange part is that I can access my 5ghz fine when I load Raspbian instead of Libreelec.

It could be an energy management problem, which differs LE and Raspbian.

When I'm right, then the log file will look fine, because it will not show shortage of energy for 5GHz.
The Browse for Folder screen showed the expected local path (see above) , namely, /var/media/Maxtor 1/Artist Information.
However, I wished to use a networked path, so I selected the New folder option and entered 'smb://192.168.0.16/Maxtor 1/Artist Information/'. I obtained the following error message:
"Couldn't create folder. Make sure the selected folder is writeable and that the new folder name is valid''. The folder already exists.
