Disable all passthrough options as it will only be supported in the next LibreELEC version.

Read the forums and also change to an OnDemand CPU governor.

Make sure you are using a nightly build as they work better.

the passthrough is disabled i am receiving audio data via LPCM if enabled you only receive a buzz like you said the audio bitstreaming will only be supported on the next LE,

i am using the last nightly that one that was released at 1/4/2019

about the cpu governer i didn't read nothing will search for it

    thank you mo123.

hello guys, since i bought the rock64 1gb with a 5v power supply i always had the exact same problem, random stutter now and then, the image freezes for 1 sec and than goes fast forward until it stabalizes. this happens quite a few times while watching any type of content mostly .mkv movies and iptv. sometimes when it stutters and then goes back to normal the audio only outputs from the right speaker.

    i have the rock64 connected to a Sony STR DN1050 /AV Receiver)

I know that the build is currently on alpha/beta im writing this to know if the devs are aware of the problem or if the problem is me?

    Regards guys.8)

thanks kostaman, as reported in other threads :

he dtshd, and truehd passthrough are not working but no biggie, since you can decode losslessly via LPCM,

the build cant decode VC-1 remuxes guess the codec is missing?

and some video stuttering here and there guess this wasnt reported yet? or its just me?

    thank you.

Helo guys, first of all let me thank you for all of your great work!!!

yesterday i got my hands on a ROCK64 1Gb that arrived from China, i tried the alpha version that is on the libreelec download section but the color space on the image was very odd, like they were over-saturated, anyway changed to the nightly build test image, and it seemed a ot better.

apart from that, the image quality is insane, compared to the trashy 905x mecool chinese box that i had. even my father that is way more noobier than me noticed it!

so im writing this topic asking for you help guiding me on this new box, as i understand the hdmi output format should be set to ycbcr 422? and should it be set to limited or full? the rock64 is connected to a sonydn1050 receiver and a samsung ks7000 tv.

and what about this new prime renderer method? should it be set direct to pane or EGL?

in using the box to watch 1080p remuxed movies (mainly) and some tv.

apart from the setup configuration, is there any possiblity to add a switch to "disable noise reduction" or can you just guide me how to disable it? maybe via SSH?

Thank you for your time guys<3

    Hello wrxtasy

first of all let me thank you for all your work, your builds are amazing!!!

im a proud owner of a MECOOL M8S Pro+ TV running your LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2.4.2-Test2-wetekdvb image.

it puts my raspberry pi in a corner man, it is the best IPTV experience i had in a few years, its very very smooth!

now i only have one problem. my NAS shares and Router Shares via SMB or via NFS are stuttering and buffering, i'm talking about 1080p REMUXES 20/30/35GB mvk files, kodi always gives me the bitrate too slow error (this doesn't happen on my raspberry pi) so its not a server or a connection problem (200Mbps/100Mbps). am i doing something wrong?

edit: all my sutff is wired.
