Ok I got ext3 on a USB. I flash my box with 8.0. I put the USB on the USB slot. Then turn the on. It would show matricom then LE but after that it would go black and just stay black. I use easeUS partition and labeled it libreelec_disk.

Edit lucky I just left it on it took a couple of minutes then krypton loaded up. Now I gotta figure the ssh. Thanks for your work koprajs!

Ok I think jump then gun. I just update my box to 8. But now the box doesn't work, is it due to not having Sd or USB card formatted to ext3? Im trying to find a way to way to format it but disk utility doesn't format ext3.

I'm only familiar with flashing the box with sd card. i would like to know how to run the code through ssh, sorry newb. hope someone can help. I'm also using a mac.

He mention he just did for his fam but I don't think he wa trying to perfect it. I still thank for what he did because it showed the potential of what it can do there's little bugs here and there and I know it can be fixed. Keep mx2 ALIVE!!!

Mx2 is a great box it seems like everything works but at times it will go into boot loop at Jarvis screen. Is that because of cache? I've ran his build with libreelec 16.1 but seems to go into hardware repair at times. I'm now running his openelec and it's 16.0 testing out. Power on and off like it should. This seems like a great box and I know it can be perfected with the right builder. Shoot I know nemesis probably can fix the kinks but nemesis went ghost. Hope someone looks into it cause it's a great box minus the little flaws.

Ok been running libreelec on couple of mx2. I've problems where it says hardware repair after turning it on. It seems like it's trying repair but it just keeps running commands but never get fix. So I have to reinstall libreelec. On other occasions it would keep rebooting on Jarvis screen and if I unplug or turn it off and on it keeps doing the same then I would go into recovery mode and wipe cache and reboot from there to get it to work. Is any one else having this problem?? I'm thinking about running nemesis OE seeing if that would fix it.

Mx2 boot loop on Jarvis screen running libreelec. Happen once is there any way I can back up with my build in case this happen again? Or is there a way to stop it from happening again?

Are u using mx2??? I had the same problem I had convert SD CARD to fat32 in order for it to work.

Exactly what box are you using ?

If you are on a Mac it is the easiest.

It is not confusing. You Must have a working SD Card LE Install. No If's or Maybe's. It has to be working including WIFI.

If your Mac and Box are on the SAME HOME NETWORK using terminal application to issue commands to your box is easy.

You are basically issuing commands to access the box first then you are issuing commands to write the LE version from your SD Card to Internal memory. That is all you are doing.

Working SD Card version first please.

u had instruction on what to do to install ssh early.... wifi works with new device tree. but still can't turn on box with remote after turing it off and when streaming 1080p herts drop to 24. can u repost on how to ssh

ssh [email protected] hit enter the password is libreelec and follow the prompts

ssh login is root password: libreelec

I have it working on SD but haven't tried with new device tree for the fix for wifi. I also have a MAC. What's the worse that can happen if I mess it up because that sounds very confusing I've never ssh before.....

Nexbox a95x 1g 8g s905 .007 running off SD wifi drop. Remote will turn the box off but won't turn it back on.

if finally got it to install this is a beast on this box.. i dont see no flaws on it. thanks man!!!!!!

installed on nexbox a95x 1gb s905 using SD. when streaming moving Hz drops to 24Hz it play for a bit then i would lose WIFI and when i turn off the box i cant turn it back on.

Apparently flashing OE did not help your Cause. Try flashing LibreELEC after reverting back to Android. 3times a charm!!!

i think my box is done. tried flashing it with that file u provided it just went to a grey screen for second then to a balck screen and it wouldnt do nothing........ it wont go into recovery blue stays on but nothing comes up.

edit ok i was able to go back to ember. phew......

ok i flashed with openelec but now its stuck just like before but on openelec screen. but if i flash it back to ember it will work.

Hope I can get help here..... I flashed my mxq with md201. I had to place remote.conf in configfile for the factory remote to work. Got it to install but the volume + don't work and return button doesn't work. Is there any way of fixing it??
