I recreated bootable sd card again, and LE loads now. But remote not working, can't proceed and configure.
in menu settings seems was shown amount memory available is 1.7GB
What do you mean? Tv box RAM about 2GB, 100Mbit Ethernet
Have you got the correct device tree? Try another, I do not know which one you need.
I used gxl_p212_2g.dtb, which I think is correct device tree for S905X box with 2GB RAM amount.
I replaced the one that's already was in main folder of SD card. The new device tree ~40KB is much smaller than was the existing one.
However, it is not clear should i replace the existing one or not. Because, in the guide noted "S905X: You can leave a tree that is already present on SD card (fresh install only) or choose one according to your RAM amount."
I installed Libreelec into sd card, but unable to boot the system for the first time. Mbox H96-II TV box model (it is some clone) .It have no 'reset' button.
I tried some methods outlined at the HOWTO guide, but my Mbox H96-II have no reset button, but available methods not works for me.
I installed Terminal Emulator app, tried run 'reboot update' command, the TV screen turn off, tv box just stay and LED flashes endlessly, no progress.
Recovery metods methods not work too, there is no"Reboot to recovery" option (1nd variant) and 2nd recovery method not applicable as well.
Is there way to make it work?
Problem solved, I tried Rufus to format SD card and create bootable image, and it works.
Eject the card and plug it back.
Does not help, no any files shown.
There is also volume 537 MB, that can't be opened, when try mount it, error message is displayed:
Unable to access "537 MB Volume"

After writing image I can't see the SD card content on Linux or Windows PC. What can be the problem?
When installing Libreelc on new SD card, do I need also place a proper device tree (dtb.img) to the root folder of SD card? Or LE already contain the device tree?
Since LibreELEC HOWTO manual say that we can either "leave a tree that is already present on SD card (fresh install only) or choose one according to your RAM amount".
which device tree is for S905X tv box with 2Gb RAM + 16Gb ROM?
Index of /s905/8.2/device_trees/S905X
is it gxl_p212_2g.dtb?
So, when Android TV box boots with factory bootloader boots, u-boot first check the SD card presence, if SD card is present in slot, it loads system from SD card, if not, then it loads Android from eMMC.
Is it possible adjust ODROID-C2 Lirbeelec bootloader for another TV Box with similar configuration 2Gb RAM + ROM 16Gb?
For example, S905X based board with Memory - NANYA DDR3, 2Gb and Flash - SAMSUNG eMMC 16G
How many other parameters is required to compile new u-boot for target Amlogic S905X based board, in addition to RAM and Flash details?
What's not fully clear is TV Box boot process and the Libreelec OS initiation: so Libreelec don't use boot loader like other Linux embedded devices do? (routers, modems, etc)
I mean copy playlist from PC to TVbox folder, this via USB?
The developer recommends run LibreElec build from SD card/USB drive, do not install it to internal memory as it might soft-brick TV box.
Does this related with bootloader, due to different bootloader is needed depending on the type of hardware configuration used? (RAM, ROM)
How playlist can be uploaded?
I create playlist from Youtube extracted video links, save it in some format: what application can I use to play them in Kodi?
Can I play custom video links with Roku Streaming Media Player?
what is the most suitable Tv Box hardware specs specifically for playing streaming videos from YouTube and other streaming sources? Devices with more RAM, better CPU cooling/ better heat sink, etc? Not only Amlogic based units, just any hardware that better fit for that.
