Hey all,
thanks again for these releases -- but after today's auto-update, the remote control stopped working.
(It's a Beelink S905)
There's some message about the joystick plugin's dependency failing, but the message gets cut off.
Any thoughts on what could fix this? I can ssh in OK.
Use the one, that you find in this post: LE9.0 remote configs ir-keytable Amlogic devices
Should work fine.
Thanks guys, I'll give it a try.
Hi kmarci,
remember some time ago (during last month) this happened before. Somewhere in the 112 pages you will find a script, which downloads a notebook recovery image (or sth like that), unpacks it and saves the correct libwidevine version ...
good luck with the search.
File not found.
tauchtank: see Gregoir3's post. That's the problem.
This is old version of libwidevine and does not work for Amazon VOD.
And how/where can I get the new version?
@knarzi
install repository.netflix-1.0.1, then install netflix.plugin from it
Okay. You really thought, that I didn't install it? I installed it for sure. As I wrote: the addon won't start, nothing happens, only an error message.
(Just before: I have a Netflix access, and it works on another devices.)
In this thread there was a newer version but it's not available for download anymore. Where can I find/download the latest relevant version?
I used this to install libwidevine.
wget http://nmacleod.com/public/libreelec/getwidevine.sh
sh getwidevine.sh
Despite that, Netflix addon didn't start...
I don't know how you're gonna manage to send messages, once your pigeons die
Yeah, I have only 2 pigeons left. I can't sleep because of this.
That's a bad solution, because I have to stand up and leave my comfortable sofa!
Oh, my bad! First world problem.
I have the same issue with estuary-skin!
At the moment I click on "Reboot from internal" and then I click on "Reboot".
Sometimes I have luck and the box will rebot to internal Android. Sometimes not!
Alternative solution: power off, remove sd card, then power on. The box will boot to android.
To make this permanent, just write this to autostart.sh? In that file somwehere specific or is it just egal?
Thank you! Confirmed this works with Beelink mini mx III II.
You should be having no issues then, I checked before I made the release that it would upgrade from .1 to .2, the only thing I can suggest is to turn automatic updates off or do a clean install.
Yeah, I don't understand why it can't update. Thanks for the answer, I think I will wait for some other releases, and then perform a clean install.
Anyway tahnk you for your work, I really appreciate it.
What version are you trying to upgrade from?
(Sorry for the late answer...)
I am currently on the previous version, 8,90.1
Do you a VPN service running?, I have a number of 905 boxes and none of them auto update unless I go into the VPN manager addon and disconnect VPN, although all display the "update available" notification, once VPN is disconnected, go into Libreelec setting and just re click on Updates auto and it should download. PS. I also have a Beelink mini mx III II box and by doing the above it updates.
No, I do not use VPN.
Hello to all! I have a Beelink mini mx III II box, with installed LE 9. My problem is that my system won't update to 8.90.2 version. After I turn my box on, the system reminds me, that there's an update, but when I restart it, the pdate process doesen't start. I checked the update folder, there I can find the downloaded image file. I tried to copy to that folder the image manually, but that didn't help. Do you have an idea what to do?
