Unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
I have a disc burned on my PC and I can browse it on PC. When I put it into my libreelec device (generic, on intel mobo) I play it - which causes playing first movie on the disc. Probably I can navigate between movies, but I can't see its filesystem with directories tree etc.

Is it possible to browse Blu-Ray disc filesystem, just to watch/listen to media stored on the disc? I concern to create some archives on BR discs.

Thanks for the list.
DVD ejects the tray, Pictures work, still fighting with Radio - <anything>KEY_A</anything> does not work, although the button wakes device from screensaver, so - it reads the button press.
*anything - liveradio has no tuner, I've tried mute, eject and some others, still no effect.

Thank you!
Looks better now, but still not perfect
1) I've mapped
KEY_VIDEO to red/Video
KEY_AUDIO to yellow/Music
but cannot find a name for blue/Picture (KEY_PICTURE and KEY_IMAGE doesn't work)
green/MyTV must be idle for know, as I don't have TV client yet.2) How to map Radio and DVD button? first column in my list are only labels on the buttons, typed by me manually in the listing above. So, I don't know how to name them in the file. Additionally:
- Radio - should start Radio add-on and MyStations in there - I've "hacked" Main Menu so now Radio in my menu shows that place (both: focused and activated), so I think it is possible to run addon (maybe in keymaps, not here in Lirc), but how to manage the button physically? This is the one:
I've tried <radio>, <a>, <key_a>... no effect
- DVD - this is bigger thing - It will be nice to:
- - open disc tray when it's empty OR
- - go to Disc submenu when it exists (so, tray is not empty)
I understand, that it is probably complicated, so only one of these actions will be nice - I can concern unhide empty disc reader.
and...
I've replaced proposed by you:
<power>Suspend</power>to
<power>Sleep</power>
which lets me sleep and wake the device by remote only, with single button press. When I need shutdown menu, it always is on its place, but my family doesn't need it.

I have simple speedlink MCE remote, which works...almost.
In general it works, but some buttons are mapped incorrectly.
So, I've run 'irw and marked buttons I want to change, those are (most of them):
Code
Display Morered 182 0 KEY_TUNER devinput yellow 188 0 KEY_AUDIO devinput blue 18f 0 KEY_GREEN devinput green 172 0 KEY_SUBTITLE devinput more 166 0 KEY_INFO devinput rtv 16e 0 KEY_PVR devinput guide 16d 0 KEY_EPG devinput radio 1e 0 KEY_A devinput dvd 185 0 KEY_DVD devinput back ae 0 KEY_EXIT devinput TV Power 182 0 KEY_TUNER devinput PC Power 74 0 KEY_POWER devinput Audio 1e 0 KEY_A devinput Title 172 0 KEY_SUBTITLE devinput Aspect 2c 0 KEY_Z devinput MSN 31 0 KEY_N devinput HELP 166 0 KEY_INFO devinput Clear 6f 0 KEY_DELETE devinput Enter 1c 0 KEY_ENTER devinput
Especially I need to remap color buttons - they are totally messed, colors and descriptions are different, ie red/KEY_TUNER on my remote has name - Video etc.
Another important ones - Radio, which I want to run Radio Addon->my stations and PC Power, which should only sleep, not poweroff.
I don't know how to map buttons successfully by config files - can't find tutorial which uses keynames similar to mine.
Keymap Editor addon cannot map Radio button at all and there is no way to change Power key behavior.
Maybe there is another way to find proper key names?
ahhh - this does not work for me, no effect at all, although this is for my remote.

Base info: I have a case for my media center made from old deck (cassette player). There are some buttons on front I want to use, so, I've found a pc keyboard, dismantle it and connect its controller to the buttons. Controller has two sets of pins, each pair generates a keypress. I've checked all of them with key shortcut manager - there is also EJECT function - unfortunately it is not ejecting dvd-tray ,rather displaying favorites.
So - the question is: how to eject the tray with pressing (any) key and/or how to map it to the key?
I can use almost any other key, only few of them will be used at the case - but I prefer EJECT or some very exotic ones - there are some functions needed for automatic translation/transliteration from asian languages, which I do not need.
Perfect situation is to find an addon (?) which can map "DVD-tray eject" to the key which I will press. Unfortunately I don't see Eject in Keyboard Mapping addon.

Thank you.
Unfortunately it does not work in this case - of course switching Num_Lock works, but I cannot determine current LED/key status and --clearmodifiers option does not work here, it clears only Caps_Lock.
Fortunately - xset (with libXmuu) just copied from my Mint desktop works
xset q | grep Num
00: Caps Lock: off 01: Num Lock: on 02: Scroll Lock: off
and xset led named "Scroll Lock" works for Scroll_Lock (only for that).
So I will use xset for status and xdotools for setting Num_Lock and xset only for Scroll_Lock. So - problem solved actually

I didn't do such things yet. Is there any documentation how to build it for libreelec and how to install?

My (intel based) libreelec has custom case, made from old deck. I have two leds there, which I want to use (PLAY and RECORD).
The best way in my opinion is to use typical keyboard LEDs - NUMLOCK and SCROLLOCK.Some thoughts:
- I drive my libreelec with MCE Remote or with keyboard which doesn't have such keys, so this is ok on this side
- In the case there is keyboard controller with the leds (to control other buttons on front of case), so technically connecting is trivial
- Callbacks addon may do the job (turn on PLAY led, when something is playing; not sure what to do with the other led yet ), when I solve the last one thing:
- I cannot find a way to turn on/off the leds (or just press the keys virtually). All the ways found in the net are not available on libreelec (xdotool, xset and others)
Is it possible to turn on/off the leds?

I have libreelec installed on intel mainboard dg45fc.
It was connected to simple 2.1 speakers and worked fine. Now I want to connect it to 5.1 system. Unfortunately - rear speakers do not speak (so, they are no-speakers )
Mainboard has 5 jack connectors:
- rear (black)- center/subwoofer (yellow)
- side surround/line in (blue)
- line out (green)
- mic in (pink)
All goes to subwoofer, which has final speaker connected to it.
And... there is no rear speakers in config. amixer don't show them, volume settings addon in kodi also.
They are completely silent
So...
Tried from other side: I have boot the machine from linux mint with the same effect: no rear speakers sound, no its settings. But using gui sound preferences, I can run 5.1 audio profile and rear speakers start to work (so, hardware is ok).
I guess alsa cannot handle my hardware but linux mint can use pulseaudio effectively and get the speakers to work.Is it possible to switch libreelec/kodi fully to pulseaudio? How? Will that work well?
hmmm... there is workaround. I've connected my rear speakers to side surround (blue) instead of rear (black) and I have some sound there, but... it does not look well I expect rear speakers connected to rear socket...

It was my fault.
I had other IR receiver (called above 'custom': 16c0:05df Van Ooijen Technische Informatica HID device except mice, keyboards, and joysticks) and... I have forgot to plug it outDisconnected, machine restarted and remote works like a charm, without issues, as MCE remote.
The only thing is some custom buttons on the remote. Is it possible to remap some buttons only?
The solution you provided is probably fine I'll read about that.

I'm using libreelec on x86_64
Got a remote (instead of the custom one, which causes some issues, I have cheap MCE) speedlink SL-6399-sbk with its own receiver.
I prefer to control all buttons, so (almost) all mappings are done and work.
Unfortunately, it still fails randomly. Remote works for some time and stops, especially when I press many buttons/many times some button.Using irw to read buttons I see, that it just stops with no comment. Then I cannot rerun it because of "connection refused" from lircd ("Cannot connect to socket //run/lirc/lircd: Connection refused"). How to debug it?

unfortunately the receiver does not give any output without irmplircd (also in kodi.log; however it does not give input at all, just works or not)
This is the device:
Bus 007 Device 025: ID 16c0:05df Van Ooijen Technische Informatica HID device except mice, keyboards, and joysticksI also tried another ones IRDA receivers, found in house, but no effect at all (kodi.log also empty of irda messages)
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 9710:7780 MosChip Semiconductor MCS7780 4Mbps Fast IrDA Adapter
Bus 001 Device 009: ID 07d0:4959 Dazzle Kingsun KS-959 Infrared Adapter

I'm trying to setup IR remote with libreelec.
Got an IR receiver which almost works, driven by GitHub - realglotzi/irmplircd: LIRC compatible daemon for IRMPUSB IR receiver
Unfortunately - I don't know how to build it on kodi, which is probably a reason, that irmplircd fails after few minutes or few clicks on my remote.
My version has been built on the same machine (x86_64), but on linux mint, booted from pxe.
So: How to use 'make' on libreelec?
Maybe there is another reason, that irmplircd is failing, but this is my first guess. -
