Please try LE official Beta 1. When you don't use any encryption features (by hand on the command line) it makes no sense to use my build.

Coffee Lake i3-8100 4k@60Hz is working for me but the Firmware of DP->HDMI PS176 adapter (same chip as CAC-1070) is 7.85 and i did get the firmware from Club 3D.

LE 9.0 with more hardware accelerated encryption and dm-crypt
Just added the kernel options and the command line tools to use dm-crypt and the latest versions also ext4 encryption. No GUI at all for the encryption.

As far as I know you can't. I use symlinks on the nfs server for that.
Or you remove overlay from the boot command line and use a different storage path for every box in the boot command line.
