real HDR10 (and only HDR10) on the TV right now and HD Audio passthrough is only working with S905X, S905D or S912 and you need at least real 150 MBit.
I tested Mecool M8S Pro L, Xoro HST 260, Xoro HST 260 DVB-C/T2, Mecool KI Pro and since 3 days Vero 4k+. If you buy one with 100M you need a extra usb gigabit adapter. I will keep the Vero 4k+.
Intel GPUs have no HDR10 support working on Linux right now. It will come and hopefully this year. I have a HTPC with i3-8100 and I am still waiting for working HDR.

Vorke Z1 is the cheapest S912 with DDR4 and gigabit I did see at geekbuying, but I don't know about the Android in the box, but if you put LE on it it should be no problem.
If you want something plug and play buy a Vero 4k+. I have my one for 3 days now and it is working fine.

I would love that and had already tried on my Vu+ 4k SE DVB-C. A real up2date Kodi and 8 tuners for tvh on LE, that would be really nice.
So No there is no LE for Vu+ as far as I know.

Oh that is bad. Any firmware Updates for your Denon x1300w? And you can try disable all OSD like showing volume when you change it or other picture changing features of the denon, so that is does passthrough for the picture and don't touch it.
My x4500h has a setting in HDMI to disable all picture changing features. I can look for the exact option when I am home.

costasx sorry that you have trouble. I just dusted of and connected my Haswell NUC to my new setup and tested with LE SD/USB Creator and LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-sky42-8.2.5-3.5-#181220.img.gz and it boots for me in Bios and UEFI mode.
For a update from 8.2.5-6.42.3 you dont need to boot from a USB stick. Just boot the LE and put a update tar file in the update folder and reboot. Take this libreelec-generic.x86_64-sky42-8.2.5-3.5-#190117.tar one (i will write the release post shortly).
This should work for you Update LibreELEC [LibreELEC.wiki]

wrxtasy kszaq your image 8.2.5.1-444-1000nits is stunning in how smooth it play. Thanks for the great work.
Is it possible to disable 4k <<-->> 1080p switching. I need always 4k, because i play at 50% screen size, so at 4k that would be 1080p. Why would i do this: my eyes are very bad i see only 4 degrees (normal people 150-180). The movie/tv show needs to be small enough, so that i can follow, but the GUI needs to be normal big (not fast moving, so i can scan that) so that i can read and the fonts are not to small. Kodi is the one and only Software (i know) what makes it possible to use a big nice up 2 date TV set and still follow because the movie is small enough. In 2,5m i see only the size of a A4 piece of paper.
Is the source of 8.2.5.1-444-1000nits somewhere available?

I use a i3-8100 with UHD 630 and it works since the first alpha, so yes.

Please try LE official Beta 1. When you don't use any encryption features (by hand on the command line) it makes no sense to use my build.
