Is there a team or forum area that specializes in hardware acceleration (i.e. amcodec)?

I'm having issues with picture freezing during the last fews seconds of most/all all of my movies.
(Audio keeps playing fine under frozen picture).
If I turn off "Allow Hardware Acceleration - amcodec", the picture plays all the way through without freezing, but now has glitches throughout and a generally degraded image quality.

Any pointers much appreciated!

Kodi 17.6
LibreELEC 8.2.5
WeTek Hub (aarch64)
Thanks RB for the advice (and of course the software)--I've got Leia19 installed and running, w/ widevine, Inputstream, NF & Amz.
A few issues so far (anyone here having better luck w/ these?):
-- Even though my WeTek Hub can play full size (un-transcoded) BRay rips without a hitch, NFlx chokes hard on 1080p streams (only 720p plays smoothly).
-- No matter my Inputstream settings, Amz streams are always 720x576, at just under 3Mbps. I'm also having sync issues here (audio leading vid).
-- While most of my VC-/TrueHD rips play just fine, there's a small batch of them that won't play at all (freeze on first frame). These particular files also wouldn't play under Android or WeOS, but worked great w/ LibreELEC official (8.1+).
As always, much obliged for any pointers!
Thanks GDPR-1! I'm on the WeTek Hub which I'm assuming is the same deal (aarch64).
I'll try adding widevine etc to one of your builds instead. You mentioned I should hold off on downloading leia8, so I figure I'll try the latest krypton build instead?
( chessplayer, when I follow the instructions you linked to for downloading wide vine, I get an "aarch64 not supported!" message. Really appreciate any pointers. Is there a way we can sidebar so we don't unduly disrupt this thread?)
chessplayer, are you using the "official" 8.1.1 beta currently, or a community build like Raybuntu's? Thanks!
Super grateful for any thoughts on how to get this latest preview (rb-leia8) running on my WeTek Hub.
Currently running 8.1.1, which I note has "aarch64" in the filename, whereas rb-leia8 is "arm" instead.
Apparently I'm unable to upgrade between the two. When I put the .tar in the updates folder and restart, I get a message that the .tar is incompatible with my "WeTek Hub aarch64" hardware.
Any help appreciated!
